I'm so god damn confused on how you get the backpack stash in that one tree in Agroprom.. the one halfway between the Stalker base and the Duty base in CS...

Does anyone know where to get the Arsenal weapons in SMRTER? I've not found a single one, but i keep seeing the ammo and silencers in the shops.
I need some help. I'm playing SoC and just finished the first mission. Under this bridge there are a bunch of guys but whenever I try to attack them they kill me. I only have a shotgun and pistol.
How can I kill them?

Camp up on the ledges near the tracks, and snipe at them with your pistol. Or, run like a bitch through the tunnel nearby where you found the body and hope you don't die.

I think you have to jump from the hill onto the tree, if I remember.

But to continue my story: I don't want to talk about X18, incase of spoilers or whatever, so I'll skip to leaving. When I come outside, [sp] the military is raiding of course [/sp] but there is a huge battle of military vs mutants. I look at the contacts and there's something like 14 military units (for some reason 3/4 of them were Lieutenants), and I can hear mutants ranging from pseudodogs, rodents, bloodsuckers, etc. One by one the military guys disappear off my list, and I decide its too dark outside even with my nightvision to leave the building with such a heated battle. I wait for awhile, and eventually there's only one military guy left, who I guessed was up top of me or else he would've been fucked by mutants. I walk out of the "lab zone" and I guess I'm a loud fatass because 2 bloodsuckers and a bunch of rodents come sprinting out of nowhere. I think fast and get up above them, and gun them down with my remaining 5.56 standard rounds.(oh, when I said I had 200 5.56 I was wrong.. I had 103 and a full mag) So all I've got left is something around 70 slugs and something like 120 9x18 rounds.
After i'm aware the threat is lowered for the moment, I go to the railed-area with all the pipes thats next to the door, climb down and sleep until 7 AM. (It was 2 at the time). I climb back up and as I'm walking out about 6 more guys spawn right in front of me. So I went all "RARABMBABLBALLA" rambo on their asses(as rambo as you can get with a shotgun)and I managed to get 4 of them before I ran out, and ran for the bridge. I notice that there's two military guys walking around, and I'm planning out an ambush when two boars come from the other side and attack them. I figure I can kill all the opponents if I flank them, so I crawl down below the bridge, walking through radiation like a moron (I had to use 3 antirads), and end up behind the military guys who were teabagging the boars. I shoot one of them in the chest (aiming for the heaD) with my silenced ABS (I think .. yeah okay w/e) but they are huge faggots and shoot me up, so I blow their masks off with my glorious cock(ing mechanism on my shotgun.
I'm walking down the road and a flesh runs by, so I shoot it in the ass with the shotgun but it's alive. I let it go since it's now out of range. So I get to that place where all the assholes are who try to [sp] scam you [/sp], and they're being attacked by A GANG OF BANDITS. I sneak up behind the bandits, shoot 2 of them and knife the last. Then I go in the village and that faggot guy "HEY BUDDY I HAVE A DEAL HURR" is talking to me, so I shoot him in the face with the pistol which alerts his friends because it didnt kill him (he lay on the floor crying). One of his buddies was right at the entrance and I caught him by surprise coming around the corner. (He went flying brudda) They're all like "OH SHIT THIS GUYS PRO" and start chugging bullets out of their asses. I get in cover, toss a nade, and run towards them. 3 of them were paralyzed by the nade and are on the floor, and the last guy I keep shooting on the shoulder on accident (missing half the time). When he eventually goes down he fires of his gun in a burst and actually shoots one of the guys on the floor (one by now is dead). As I'm about to execute the last with my pistol, two fleshes run in the goddamn room.
I'm trying to reload, but I can't fast enough, so I make a daring move and grab the M16 laying on the floor dropped by a stalker. I raise it up just in time to-
No, just kidding. Those fleshes killed me. I had forgotten to heal, and was limping and bleeding like shit, and they charged in and basically poked me to death. But you know what I think? I think it was the flesh from earlier. I KNOW IT WAS. He got a friend and then came after my ass. And the lessons I've learned?
1. Save more(last save was getting out of X18)

Meh.. worry about that later. I'm mostly concerned with finding ammo for the moment.. I used all of it up in the Red Forest... fucking snorks ._.
Are most graphics mods compatible with AMK, or do I need to find one that is specifically tailored to the mod?

I just downloaded Dade's Mod for CoP. Doesn't look that bad although the masks have these shitty visions, the whole face is covered with a mask. Also food is very expensive. Well I have to play more to really give a review about it.

Well if I could FIND the damn guy, then that would be awesome.
But this was 2 years ago in retail SoC while doing a noob vanilla playthrough.
Funny story about dogs, I got the job from Sidorovich to kill all the mutants next to the factory building, and I'm chasing this fucking dog for like 10 minutes, the last one alive. Every time I get close enough to get a shot it runs off from me because I killed its pack. I used like 3 energy drinks to keep sprinting, and on my last one, as I was chasing it over a hill I heard someone yell in agony. The dog is now the least of my damn worries. As I come up the hill theres a dead person, and two bloodsuckers running right at me. I had like 3 tiny bars of energy left so I couldn't sprint or even run. They totally got on both sides of me and started fucking me up, and after about 10 rapid first aid kits I got them both with the winchester.
And now I can't find the FUCKING DOG!

I play STALKER to enjoy it, not as a survival challenge.
I said hi to Guide on my way to go talk to Seriy. Who, conveniently enough, was dead.
Also, it's a nice change from other mods because it has an awesome atmosphere and there isn't like 400 different guns. And other stuff. I mean at any time I could switch to Master (playing on Veteran right now) and 35kg but I don't really give a shit..
