Or you can go around. Been there, done that. You just can't run with that much shit. The weight limit should be 35-50 I think. Over 35 you can't run for more than a few meters, jumping drains your stamina, etc.
There's a unique pistol down there.
Yeah, a unique Fort-12.
In millitary you carry 50kg. In the zone you get carried to a lair by 50kg.
I have carried 50 KG of stuff. I was able to walk, but boy, running was impossible. So the best weight limit would be 35, you could run with 35 KG equipment but if it goes over that, running becomes more and more harder.
Fun fact, carrying that much weight and trying to run will probably end up in broken knees.
It's not a fun "fact" if it's probabily.
It's not a 'fun' fact.
You gotta have good legs to be able to run with 50kg on your back. It's possible, I recall behind-the-line special forces being able to do such feats in World War 2.
It's kinda stupid to have a low absolute weight limit. Almost anyone can lug over 40kg if they have a good backpack, it just doesn't mean that they're fast. This reminds me of a feature that would be pretty much perfect for STALKER. Belt slots, like in mods, would hold magazines and grenades. You'd drop your backpack at the start of a battle, and the enemies would too. You could carry it of course, but you'd be slow. So leave it at a somewhat secure location, and run back if you run out of ammo. Which you shouldn't if you knew how to aim. The scoped Mosin-Nagant is my favorite gun in AMK Arsenal so far. It's got the Red Orchestra scope though.

Anyone know how to fix the stuttering I've been getting in Call of Pripyiat from using Windows 7 64bit changing the prefetching options has no effect, changing graphics setting likewise does nothing, I never had these problems on XP

I've never had stuttering at all in COP.
I wish I could show you, because personally I already did on several hiking trips.
Did you kill mutants and had very intense firefights? :smug: Well the 60 kg limit is a bit to much. 25 kg is kind of hard but it's realistic, ammo is very heavy though and medkits too. [editline]12:23PM[/editline] Also what's with LURK now?

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz 4Gb DDR2 @ 800Mhz RAM (2Gb x 2 @800Mhz) Gigabyte ATI 5770 1GbDDR5 Foxconn G31MX Series Motherboard Running it on FULL DX11 or FULL DX9 has basicly the same peformance... The slowdowns are more felt when many NPCs are around (Yanov station, The bunker,...) Running it on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Why the fuck has AMK made attacking the military outpost impossible? [editline]03:31PM[/editline]
The scoped Mosin-Nagant is my favorite gun in AMK Arsenal so far. It's got the Red Orchestra scope though.
AMK Arsenal? WHERE CAN I GET THAT
I wanna see you carrying 60 kg of equipment.
I'll do it/have done it. But then weighing ~125 kg myself probably helps. Most people don't hit that. Given that, I can go up to about 80. But you ain't gonna be sprinting. At a slow jog I can do 80kg. After that, it starts not to matter how well my ergonomics are,, it hurts.

Muscle weights more than fat. 125kg is on the upper limit of reasonable. Most tall muscled people are around 100
That's not a lot. I'm about sixty five.
And yes, I realize it before some idiot comes babbling in, that's 135 pounds. 175-180 when I said 80. I wouldn't have all this shit on my back ffs. And yes. That's 275lbs. I'm slightly overweight and could shed maybe 20 before muscle retoning and growth equilibriums it out. You want to see fat, I'll show you our HS Football team's old Nose Tackle, son of a bitch was 470. They were gonna use him as sole method of tackle practice until they noticed only me and one other guy could reliably lift him more than once.
Is there any way to merge AMK and arsenal mod?
Can't find any awesome weapon soundpacks for CS, halp me brothers
