I like modified TRs-301 the most. In SoC I modified it so I could attached a bunch of shit like scopes, 'nade launchers and silencers. Was awesome.

Yea. Guns like AN-94 tend to do their job well for less expensive and more common ammo, without the cost of accuracy loss. You guys remember that back in CS PKM was used as a mounted weapon due to it's terrible lack of accuracy and rarity in the game?

the only mounted PKM I remember in CS is the one the military checkpoint uses.

As far as I remember there were three more mounts in Limansk. One used by a bandit in an Exosuit, one in a military stalker barricade, and another one in Limansk Hospital(you know where :argh:).

My favorite gun so far out of all the STALKERs is Strelok's SGI 5k.

Obviously, since it's so overpowered and takes all attachments. :| Groza all the way baby

I think 2009 overwrites all your mods so that the mods use the textures from it. How shit.

No, as in, I had it in a seperate gamedata folder and it [I]still[/I] used the textures. That's downright dickery.

And an Exosuit. And three guns.

I'd say it's worth it, just watch out for the bloodsuckers and anomalies. A protective suit may also be required.
