And of course this will receive no negative press, while the Crysis 2 leak will be blamed for the downfall of PC gaming and end up being just another excuse for developers to focus on the console crowd to make their precious dollars.
agree EA isnt really PC much anyways
And of course this will receive no negative press, while the Crysis 2 leak will be blamed for the downfall of PC gaming and end up being just another excuse for developers to focus on the console crowd to make their precious dollars.
You really have to blame the idiots that download games illegally.
Seriously, what's next? Oh shit, Skyrim leaked 10 months early!
Seriously, what's next? Oh shit, Skyrim leaked 10 months early!
Probably would be the same quality now as it will be 10 months from now.
Probably would be the same quality now as it will be 10 months from now.
Oh snap! <_<
Oh snap! <_<
:frog: Never do that again.
Oh wow.
To be honest, this isn't a big deal. Crysis 2 obviously was, but leaks within a week or so earlier happen more than you think. Almost all Nintendo DS games and Wii games get leaked at least a week early. Why is beyond me, but it happens.
I bet you anything other major games like Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3 will be leaked next.
I suspect the weak link in the chain of game secrecy is the production process. Game studios design the games and pass a copy to a third-party production company that would mass produce the games, put them in CDs and stamp the manual and stuff. All it takes is one single employee to leech off a digital/physical copy and upload it into the Internet. After all, their own company wouldn't be affected.
41GB jasus
You really have to blame the idiots that download games illegally.
I used to, so I can only blame myself really... But I don't pirate shit any more. It's bizarre actually - when you're so used to just downloading anything and everything and not paying a cent for it, it becomes absolutely normal. But then, when you return to buying everything (as I have done now for some time), you start to really appreciate how much damage you were actually doing. I think a lot of people who pirate games just say to themselves every now and then "I'm only one person, it's not a big deal", and that's that. There was a time when a leak like Crysis 2 or (if I played console games) Killzone 3 would have excited me to no end - I would have nabbed it first chance I got and just tinkered with it for days... But now? I just don't care. I want a polished game, I want to support the developer, and I just want to enjoy what I play. Fuck, I'm getting old or something.
That too. :v:
You're incorrect. Not linking here, but do a quick search of Kmeaw PSN. And you will see it is possible. Also this leak is not really a leak. As the game has shipped to retail already. It's within the shipping window. The reason Crysis 2 was a big deal is because it's an unfinished leak. Has a lot of internal tools, master keys and source code.
MGS4 was nearly 50 gb.

41 GB
Oh Playstation, you so silly.
I think they leaked this one on purpose, seeing how much publicity Crysis 2 got.
Huh, preordered this just today
Oh Playstation, you so silly.
You've got all that disc space, why not use it?
the only people who would get this early is silly rich kids who can afford extremely fast internet anyways it took me half a day to download a 100mb patch
the only people who would get this early is silly rich kids who can afford extremely fast internet anyways it took me half a day to download a 100mb patch
You must be living in poverty if it takes you 12 hours to download a 100 MB patch.
well it wasn't exactly 12 maybe 6 hrs i was exaggerating
well it wasn't exactly 12 maybe 6 hrs i was exaggerating
So you have an average download speed of about 256 KB/s. That's terrible. Where do you live?
in the suburbs
You're incorrect. Not linking here, but do a quick search of Kmeaw PSN. And you will see it is possible.
Huh, you're right. I went back to the article that said you would get banned and it seems they went back and took that piece out. My apologies. And just to clarify, the 3D version of Killzone 3 is 41 gb. The normal 2D version is around 20.
it has a splitscreen campaign
it has a splitscreen campaign
That was in the demo.
That was in the demo.
so why would they take it out if it's already in there
why do people need leaks anyways why can't they wait 9 days are they so impatient
I'm not impatient, I'd just like to play it now is all.
Breaking-news: Half-life 2: Episode Three has been leaked onto the internet 4 years early.
Also, before anyone goes and torrents it, you should know that Sony is banning anyone that plays it while online.
Not like you can create infinite accounts or anything.
so why would they take it out if it's already in there
They didn't take out coop...
Not like you can create infinite accounts or anything.
I was corrected. There are no bans. If you go up a few posts you'll see it.
