No way it would need HL1 to play, since it's source, but I don't know if you need Hl2 or other source games for it to work

I'm getting an error validating steam userid packet, and deleting the userdata folder is not working.
nevermind, fixed it with steam support.
I remember playing this during a short trial period, I thought it was brilliant being able to go around and murder on a ship, people not knowing who was who and what their fate would be. I was disapointed when my trial ran out as I had no money to buy it, if someone is willing to give me a key I would be more then glad to have a game with them...lets get this community going again.

i'd take one, i used to play the HL1 mod like crazy, was really fun
especially when you and your target ended up in a jail cell together
the syringe in the medical bay was the best weapon hands down

Watch out for door blockers by the name of JOHN MCCAIN and Garriottz. Just got kicked because he kept confusing people by starting votes when a few people including me were trying to boot him off.
Goddamn sore losers kept me from winning two rounds tonight. First time, I stabbed a guy with a syringe, and he sat in a cabin throwing up for a while, then disconnected. I had to hunt down a new quarry.
Second time, I shot someone with a flare gun. They ran into somebody else, setting them on fire, then they disconnected before burning to death. I had to hunt down a new quarry AND I got penalized for killing someone who wasn't my target.
Both times, the weapons were worth at least $10k

so my hunter is being an obvious asshole and waltzing with me in the main foyer so i make a break for it and run into a cabin to look for a not shit weapon, i hear the door creak open and sure enough the same dick comes in holding a katana and charges me
i get sliced once, jump on a bed and dash out while slamming the door
i BOOK it down the hall without looking back, some guys look at me and pull guns on me but i ignore them and jump into another random cabin. slam the door and mash my mouse on every closet knowing this guy is right behind me. lo and behold theres a tommygun sitting there callin my name
right then the hunter opens the door, jumps at me and eats a full clip of bullets in the fucking face
love this game
I think a big improvement could be made to this game if each map had multiple prisons. I like how they put the needs into the game, so you're forced to go to different parts of the ship and not just camp one area, but people [b]really[/b] cluster up around the brig. Someone's quarry gets arrested, so they wait right outside, then that person's hunter waits with them, then that person's, and so on until pretty much everyone is sitting there waiting.
It'd be nicer if the brig was just one location separate from the map that prisoners go to (so it's still somewhat feasible to go into prison with the hopes of shanking your quarry), but they should get released at one of 2-3 random locations around the map, rather than the same place every single time.
Yeah, the problem is people get clustered and since you can't clip through people, everyone is just stuck bumping into each other because nobody wants to be polite enough to let anyone pass(including me). It's a shame too, people are always clustered around the lobbies or around jails instead of being scattered around the very detailed map
You know what? next time I play, I'm not going to kill anyone(well I might once in a while to earn some money), I'm just going to walk around and explore the ship, change outfits frequently, and lead my hunter around the map
Why did valve decide to fuck up steam trading? I send people a 2-pack and they activated it and traded it back but I can't do that anymore because when they activate it the game becomes untradable. Why.

Also, just hade the most awesome hunt. I was walking along a corridor in search for my prey. I look behing me from time to time because, well, you have to. I notice a woman who's been following me around the entire time so I decide i'll just head in to a random room and wait for her there behind the door, there's another person there too just looking around for stuff. Sure enough, she barges in with a revolver, accidently shoots the other guy then I launch at her with a baseball bat, killing her quite easily. I fucking love this game.
I don't like the way the needs system works. Its good, but the rounds are WAY too short to make them worthwhile doing, and you have to go so far out of your way from your quarry that its not worth it most of the time, better to just hunt your quarry then get killed.
Well that kind of depends on what map you're playing. I manage to handle my needs and fix my kills most of the time.
Theres one map, which I forget the name of, but everyone was always clustered around the third class places, because you couldn't physically kill anyone in the other floors due to there being npcs everywhere and up the ass, which was also where all the needs fillers were.
I just want the rounds to be, doubled in length at the least.
This game seems to be quite thrilling, judging from your posts. Is there a demo for it?
I'd like to be able to play even for just a little while.
