I didn't even know a new company bought The Ship........ that changes EVERYTHING and is GREAT news because they see the potential in this game and want to revive it just as much as the players want it revived. Now is definitely a good time to buy The Ship... at $10 you can't go wrong at all. Especially with the killer promotion going on right now.
They're most likely going to lower the price down to $10 or something sometime after the sale anyway so don't worry if you miss the holiday sales. It's worth $20 yeah but it just won't sell at that price point and I'm sure Blazing Griffin knows this.
One question though... does anyone know if you get extra copies with the Complete Pack?? Pretty sure you do but.........

i played the mod and always wanted to play this.

We need custom maps, less cruises even if it's not "The Ship" I want a map on those jumbo jets with the malls inside, or in like Sealab, or a space station.
We have that amazon village resort place, that's about it in terms of variety of locale.
Also are there a lot of cvars on The Ship? It would be nice to be able to toggle player collisions and other nuisances, I like the collisions but a lot of people just give up playing because of minor stuff like that.
worst map if probably the one with the two floor lobby connecting with a staircase, as people just dick around and click on each other to find their target and then have staring contests
the paddleboat and the amazon village are fun as hell tho (especially sniping people off rafts)
I hate people just just wait at the edges of the pier so you can't get off the raft. fucking assholes
This game looks amazing, I'd like a place on that list please (I could give some Team Fortress 2 stuff for it).

hehehe, on a raft with somebody else, dash into them and they get eaten alive by piranhas. People just shove you into the water endlessly on that map, that's the only issue even if it's hilarious.

if you've already killed your quarry and you've eaten/taken a shit and all that jazz, just go follow someone around and pretend to be their stalker
or throw shovels at them either or

One asshole move you can do is hit someone who isn't your quarry so they think you're their hunter, then have them kill you in self defense so they lose a lot of money

i also highly suggest looking through windows at random people and shooting at their feet
fun for the whole family
Equip walking stick/umbrella, chase people around and when near a camera/npc pull out your weapon. They think they can defend themselves so they pull their weapon out and get arrested.

It's not about me. It's about every bloodthirsty person who finds a tommygun or pursebomb and turns the game into dm_Bataxia.

Finding secret areas is so satisfying.
Also, we should share our names, to recognize each other when we do play. Could be fun.

This can be fun, but it's caused problems for me. Like they'll hit me once or twice, then I'll be softened up for my next hunter, who can kill me in 1-2 hits with a shitty weapon like a screwdriver.
