I doubt it'll be 2-3 months. We thought the Tournament would be that long but it wasn;t.
They'll extend it as much as possible so they have more time for Cataclysm. Also, we haven't seen all features yet. Cross-realm instances on its own requires a lot of testing on its own, already.

I dunno. I really hope it's soon.
I for one am hoping it takes a while. I love the idea of it all. But I would just like to finish up a bit more thing with Raids before new stuff comes out. Its like if you just started the game and most are already at least 1 80 and geared by the time you hit 80 you will only be doing raids that no one but other people that just started will be doing other than badge runs. and people would rather not take scrums on badge runs. I mean they rather not carry a single person thats just more time it takes to finish when they could have a kick ass dps or something. so I would rather finish up with some naxx 25 to make sure I have all epic items. I know Ulduar will still be done. But I want to enjoy Naxx 25 a bit longer its just so much fun for me haha.
