Just make sure you time your jumps right, and take frequent breaks to recover your strength meter.

rom? Do you mean the .iso file? Far as I know that's illegal. If people want it that bad they'll just pirate it anyway the same way they pirate PC games.

I'd be surprised, it's like 4.5 gigs. Hypothetically if you wanted to do it you could go to a website like the Pirate Bay and hypothetically torrent it with hypothetical uTorrent but you shouldn't do that because it's hypothetically illegal.
i remember the ps2 couldn't handle this game very well. Only played the demo but felt good man.

It frequently dips below 20fps. It's probably consistently below actually.
I'm finding it really horrible to replay SotC at the moment because I'm playing it on the PS2 with the HDTV so it looks horrendous. Not just dated... I mean it hurts my eyes. On a HDTV this thing gets fucked over.
I can't wait for them to just bring it out on PSN or something.

Loved this game, though I could never get the hang of it again after trying to play a few months later.
Right now I'm looking forward to the Last Guardian, it looks good but is probably going to end badly. For [I]someone[/I].
Yeah this game ran at quite a low FPS. It was seriously pushing the boundaries of the hardware it was running on.
There was some really nice bloom with HDR like effects, per-pixel motion blur not only on the camera but also object motion blur on the character himself and other objects (look at the trees and such when a colossus moves). Simple cloth physics for items like his clothing and Agro's mane.
Gargantuan landscapes with decent LODs which where hidden by a subtle depth of field effect. Also the hair on the colossus themselves was outstanding. Quite literally the best hair I have ever seen in a video game to be honest.

Annd i got to agree, it looks better than most new games too.
Wait, so this game [I]is[/I] a connected to Ico? I knew it was from the same developers, but I didn't know it was connected to it.
That means I'm going to have to pick up that game and check it out.
It's a prequel.
Ending made me depressed.
Tried the demo. It was okay. Couldn't figure out how to beat that first fucking rock monster thing.
And it's not a game in my genre preference.
