IIRC, adobe prices their products that way because it's no biggie for companies and professionals but shut an eye on piracy.
I don't get this. Most people on steam are hobby gamers, and I doubt anyone would dish out $300 on something just because it's on steam. Professionals will just find the websites for these anyway

The free version is very limited. Like limits on the amount of objects and sprites you can have, which is BS.

Thank god I have their Professional License due to their HTML5 Product (while Studio was still in development) being a huge piece of SHIT and they decided to give me the Studio for free with the HTML5 module included. All what I had to do was pay $99, how lucky am I? :v:
