I'd like to get my hands on that 3D-Coat program, it looks neat.
Looks really neat, especially with the TF2 compiling.

3D-Coat's makers have to be the first software developers who encourage users to model penises

Unintentionally so, of course

That's not sarcastic(unfortunately), did you read over the biography of the developer?
What's next? A Steam Operating System?
Possible rumours of UNIX Steam Box thing which is basically a console which appears to only run Steam Big Picture but has multiple adaptable controllers or something.

Don't think it's gonna happen, because linux is not exactly good at this, but someone around the internet said that it could run in linux, don't remember the source thou.
If you purchase software from steam, do you have to have steam running when using the software?

They've been porting the source engine to linux (which apparently runs faster than the Windows version), and big picture dropped right around the time the rumours of a linux-based console started floating around. There's also the fact that Gabe has spoken out against the Windows 8 ecosystem. I think it's pretty likely.
Linux can be "good" at anything. It's just not a popular desktop OS at the moment, therefore mainstream games aren't being ported to it.
At last I've finished the program 3D-Brush. But at the very last moment I doubted because it could be used as you liked including for not good purposes. Then we decided to make a limitation in license agreement and download section with reference to responsibility before God in using the program for bad purposes. It would be against our conscience to release the program without such limitation and we would suffer from watching how our program is being used. A sense of peace with God and your own conscience is much more expensive than any money. After that a storm came! A sharp dispute has begun on NewTek (and Mudbox) forum about my supposedly intrusion of my religion through my program. Furthermore, I was accused of hypocrisy, yet that was reasonable because I made games before. Those wery hard two weeks of my life.
ahahahahahahahaha
Wow! Game Maker: Studio is the most neutered piece-of-shit software demo I've ever tried. And the new GUI is just a goddamn mess. If you're going to start out making games, stick with GM for Windows 8.1.
