Maybe because they knew about them for as long as Icefrog himself is ?
Valve can be considered as the Dota 1 team as well you know.
And because its rational to release a hero on a remake, who had close to no actual gameplay on the original game.
There isn't even information about heroes that were actually expected to be released in Dota 2, let alone heroes that were just released on dota 1.
I doubt that, Abaddon wasn't a 6.73 hero and according to that one list he's being released last. Hell, Skywrath and Shredder are being released somewhat soon.
just because materials and icons are being added to the test client doesn't mean they're gonna come out before others. look at meepo. he went through at least 3 hero releases before actually coming out.
Don't forget Bane too.
Necrolyte changes are nice, but I think he still needs an improvement on his attack animation and projectile.
I still don't really understand the abyssal blade change.
Basher doesn't build into anything else. Relic builds into radiance and rapier. Of those radiance is going to be really stupid. You rush radiance. You don't get it 4 years into the game. Rapiers are sort of reserved for sudden death moments (disregarding the messing around aspect), and at that point there are a million things besides an abyssal blade that I would want to sell since it is arguably the most powerful item based disable in the entire game.
Not that I'm complaining. I just don't really see why it was changed.

As you said, in a do or die last push situation, now you can turn your abyssal blade into a rapier tripling your dmg.

Damn, lion can't fuck his mana up anymore

It was changed because currently if you have a Basher (and don't want to upgrade it) and go for a Rapier in a last ditch situation, you have to drop the Basher to form the Rapier or else (even if you buy the Demon Edge first, even if you right click the Divine Rapier icon with 6200 gold) it will assemble into an Abyssal and not Rapier.
I have lost a game because of this, true story.
Can someone explain the Leshrac change?
Before you could just cast Diabolic Edict instantly, 0 seconds cast animation.
Now he has a cast animation, you know, that movement thing he does when he casts split earths, now he does it when he does Diabolic Edict. Basically you cant just find someone in the jungle by himself, cast edict and rape him, now you gotta land a stun, then do the cast animation for edict, and then move around him.
Means that it's got a cast animation now ie you have to stand still and cast it.
It's basicly a nerf to his Edict, because Lesh cast time is LOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNG as shit.
But it stops him 1v1ing everything early game by pressing a single key and prancing in circles like he's god damn Enchantress.
Now I won't fear leshrac assholes in captains mode as much. Only time he fucked us over was when my team was too stupid to hump eachother when he edicts so that he does little damage to all of us.

The best way to fight Lesh is in the middle of your creepwave.
He will run around looking confused while you get few easy hits on him before he realises that he has to fight back with his unreliable stun and shitty autoattacks.
I did this once as Ogre magi, he tried to lead me out of the creeps when he ganked me. I directly ran into my own creeps and fireblasted him, followed by burning-jizz. He was like "What is going on?? WHY AREN'T YOU RUNNING TOWARDS YOUR TOWER LIKE AN IDIOT??!?!"
Balls deep I went near him, he edicted > ran back to my creeps, followed by him chasing me. He autoattacked me once = my creeps focused him, along with me casting another blast and smacking him with bloodlust on.
He realises that he's low as fuck and starts to run away, I toss in a final cum-jar after him...
Got a kill 4 secs later.

These changes might seem minor, but mind you that the hunger buff is insane.
He gets the speed of 2 hungers on 1 cast, and since Axe is highly crippled by his slow base MS, he can keep up to anybody once he is burning multiple people's HP away at the same time he's spinning faster than a bayblade with a rocket strapped on it.
His chasing potential just went trough the roof from this hunger buff.
The other changes are just number-tweaks which are always welcome on everybody's favorite red muscle-pound ballet fanatic.

And if you're solo laning VS a tri-lane?
I had that problem yesterday.

Only real answer is... don't find yourself doing that.
When I get home tonight I'm gonna go all out and play dota 2 testing all the new things
First thing imma do though, is try out jungle doomburger using a teammate treant and see just how fat I can get before I exit the woods and DOOM someones day.
Just storm out of the trees and go YOU - YOU ARE FUCKING
DOOMED.
Since the new Treant buff, anyone gonna try Ursa Wisp Treant lvl 1 rosh? Just living armor the hero thats not being aggro'd and you should be able to get lvl 1 rosh.

You don't need Treant to level 1 rosh as Ursa Wisp.
You could try Ursa Treant alone tho.
Ursa + anything can already do rosh. You just need 4-5 salves depending on starting armor values. Just alternate tanking and salving.
