I think last year's season 1 championship was in an open area, I think Dreamhack, announcers babbling on live-time without players having sound-proof booths. I think they still had sound-proof headphones but then one guy got communication issues when the match had started, and Riot did nothing at the subject. They just lost the match because of major screwup made by the organizers. If one guy doesn't have communication in such a team-based "competitive" game it's very bad for the team, and since Riot hadn't done anything like pause mechanic to fix the problem they just had to play without one guy having voice-communication with his team the rest of the game.

they're trying to make their own in-house league of the top lol teams by flying them out to la and providing housing and food for them while they play for money.

He didn't stop after getting unbanned. Yes, it's not as bad as it used to be but that doesn't erase the past. But for him he never made a mistake or posted anything wrong ever.

I'm pretty sure M5 disbanded their DOTA2 team in conjunction to the Riot shit, considering LoL brings far much more money in for M5.

It was a rumor, denied by Riot, then confirmed it was a thing by several team owners. It's not happening anymore, but it was.
