Dota 2 General Chat - I, for one, welcome our new Chinese overlords - Games

I actually gave in and played some LoL today again after some friend wouldn't shut up about being his 5th in his team. Did one game. Fuck I sometimes wish last hitting were that easy in DOTA2. 300 last hits by 20 mins is very possible there.

What's so bad about LoL? Other than being babie's first MOBA or something of the sort. (please make an essay about it :v: I like good reasons)

PGG was good back in the Dota 1 days, since then he didn't train much and now almost every pros are better than him.

This also means the fate of almost all games is sealed after the first 15 minutes. Also, last hitting is way easier, and LoL depends a lot in last hits, so anybody that's good at last hitting in Dota will rape people in LoL.

I used to like LoL and Riot. The game also takes very little strategy or skill and takes forever to grind out things you need. You also need to buy heroes for team balancing issues. But as the game progressed they bought their way into competitive gaming and esports. They pump money into it constantly just to keep it afloat. From what I hear even the competitive players themselves don't like what's going on. They just like the money they get from it. Riot is also trying to buy out the community and other esports organizations. They are also trying to make it so organizations can't have both a LoL and DOTA 2 team. All in all Riot have become giant assholes that think they can buy their way out of and into anything.

If you're playing the game in a manner that Riot doesn't like they "fix" the game somehow and bring it back into line with the way [I]they[/I] want [I]you[/I] to play it. Because of this the metagame has not changed in years. Besides that...terrible art style (it doesn't have one), uncreative hero design in both look and abilities, scumbag company running it.

theres also no form of item buying difference between champions every ad carry gets IE, bloodthirsters, phantom dancers, with little room for creativity do to the lack of late game items in league bruiser gets fratmogs, ap gets deathcap, rod of ages, etc theres only a couple of 'trash' items that you get early game (with dota you have bracers, qb, etc, league you just stack dorans blades/rings for better last hitting/harass)

Blitzcranks hook is far shorter than Pudge's hook, even taking into account the difference in map size and scale.

Blitz' hook is 600-700 range. Fucking small, but it's still too strong spell in LoL.
