Dota 2 General Chat - I, for one, welcome our new Chinese overlords - Games

I played like 50 bot matches too at first. And then I also played a lot of Lich; easy hero to learn with because you can spam Sacrifice creep-ability and Frost Blast, you get to buy wards and place them, and generally sticking to friendly Heroes and assisting them in any way. Also long auto attack range. Then, when I was still relatively new to this game, during picking phase when I was done randoming/picking my Hero, I jumped to Dota2wiki a lot to check out items fast or spells more closely (before match begins), so Dota2wiki, browse it a lot. It's quite informative and fun. And last but definitely not least, SPECTATE the public games on the First Page, highest being the most highest skilled. They may not be International-high-Skilled, but almost everytime they know what they are doing. If you are eating a snack or something, jump into a high-skill public game that has just started, and follow some specific Heroes around and see what they do, you get a lot of "A-ha!" experiences, and then you try them out yourself and try to follow suit.

my friends have been busy lately so I decided to queue with only one of them who I normally don't play with since he has so little games some guy says I'll jungle while his icon is over enchantress, then proceeds to pick bs and disconnects instantly kill me

DOTA 2 is a good refresher from this, since most of the females are pretty much covered. (Except for broodmilf, she's always nekked.)

Yesterday I was at my limit, I queque'd with a friend and ended up with a 3 person stack, one of them went TA, did horrible, ok fine I won't get mad there is always another game but after 15 mins I couldn't take it anymore, the guy wrote everything with caps, and a Haha/jaja at the end of every sentence, then didn't stop mentioning how we should stick together at all times I was thinking about leaving, but then I thought "I would be ruining the game for 9 other people" , a few minutes later the servers died, I was so fucking glad that happened

Plus i myself dont want to instalock because meepo is one of the few heroes whose weakness i know, AOE/CC and that scares me already. and I hate to watch the enemy just sit there and contemplate your teams build counter it. I hate that guy on you team, usually last to pick, who just hovers over the unneeded extra carry but chooses him anyway. but that dota for you, got to take those few perfect moments when you get them
