Cant wait for more gamemodes myself
So what is everyone's guess on heroes/number of heroes for tomorrow? Looks like Meepo is sure-fire, imagine the whining on the dev forums if all the people who feel like valve entitle them to something don't get more than their one hero
I'm hoping for team matchmaking. They did say it was coming soon after the international if I remember correctly.
There is still a slight chance that we are not getting any heroes, since .75 is right behind the corner, and if the hero would get changed in some way it would be bothering for Valve tbh. Like Meepo comes today/tomorrow, Icefrog decides that his basestats need to be 1 point higher and he's going to remake his earthbind a bit in the .75, it would be sort of pointless to release the hero before the changes come in. I hope this is not the case.
Cant wait for more gamemodes myself
Oh, that. And new maps. Original map with always be the map, but imagine for example 10 vs 10 or even 20 vs 20 huge frontline map with bigass towers that take a while to bring down. Dota : Normandy or something like that. With huge river in the middle. And stronger creeps, etc. Because of Source and Valve this game can grow TF2 style, i.e. infinietly. 2 hero update?
2 hero update?
Betting on 3.
Betting on 3.
Betting on 5 (Meepo) [sp]original joke, do not steal[/sp]
Im thinking its only gonna be meepo
I have a feeling we'll see Centaur Warchief and Magnataur in this update. Their textures are done and we saw some stuff for magnataur back during the international. I really hope I'm right. I want more strength heroes.
Not will all his illusions up. If you can catch him before he ults then yeah
Kill illusions or wait until they run out of time. A good way to do the second is spreading around so he gets confused as to who to attack or at least can't maul people in a line. [editline]19th September 2012[/editline]
Link would have been cool but thanks for informing. WTB: Pudge wars mini game
I'm going to get flamed for this, but I don't like his bio that much. Not exactly what comes to my mind when I hear the word "Geomancer". Especially since it seems to explain 'divided we stand' as a ritual performed by some cult instead of an arcane ability of a greater magnitude only able to be performed by the greatest of Geomancers.
Yeah his bio is kind of odd, I hoped for something that made more sense. Either way, his bio wont change much.
that bio makes perfect sense for the whole southern hick-ish vibe they were aiming for. having him be some great magician wouldn't be as cool imo, we've already got invoker and rubick for that kind of thing. also poof makes him super hard to catch or gank so that tunnel rat style does fit his gameplay which is the most important aspect to consider when designing something.
WTB: Pudge wars mini game
As long as they keep in the buyable powerups. Getting the tiny arm and the techies barrel and throwing mines at everyone is too glorious.
valve have already said they're porting over a bunch of fun gamemodes like pudge wars
valve have already said they're porting over a bunch of fun gamemodes like pudge wars
oh HELL YES!
valve have already said they're porting over a bunch of fun gamemodes like pudge wars
source?
That feel when you play an excruciatingly boring match with no real teamfights and blunder after blunder for 55 minutes, win with a miraculous push, and then the biggest, dumbest feeder on your team finds a Call of the Dendrochon courier. It's not a good one.
Playing as Rubick must be the most enjoyable thing ever. The more spells they have, the more ways to kill them YOU have :v:
Playing as Rubick must be the most enjoyable thing ever. Examples: Split Earth, Fissure, Hook (It's faster throwing it out by a bit.), and some others. I like rubick as a mid and not so much as a support. I mean he's not a bad support by any means I just feel like he does better with a bottle and is a great ganker if he gets early levels.

What they do, you can do better, faster, and with a couple of tricks up your sleeve AND a very nice magic resistance.
that's not a courier...
Oh, right. I mistook it for Stumpy. Both are Mythical though, so I guess it's an easy mistake.

Whatever happened to that Minipudge courier anyway?
Whatever happened to that Minipudge courier anyway?
Nothing.
Why do people assume its gg when Ursa is picked? He is such a shit hero.
Captains mode the other day, they pick brood and natures, we pick earthshaker. They all leave before 5 minutes.
Captains mode the other day, we got Lycan.
