Because for him to be a shit hero you dont want to allow him jungle/farm blink, vlads, shadowblade
AND NO ROSHAN FOR HIM. Else he goes out and kills all.
And to prevent such catastrophy wards, ganks and other TEAMWORK related stuff is required.
Which is impossible in pubs :(

I think you can modify it in game.
The game where I had an ultra kill as Visage didnt save for some reason.
Even in my recent games Visage doesnt show as the most recent even thought that`s the case.
Fuck.

That happens with just about any hero.
Meepo week will be horrible. Everyone will just counterpick the guy who instalocked him first just because of spite, 99% of the people that pick him will fail at him and after a week or two he will be forgotten.
I realized the importance of wards yesterday when I played Earthshaker support against a Radiant jungle Lycan.
Wards in all the small/med camps and on bot rune forcing him to use the hard camps, and whenever he was low on health, BAM! Ganked.
Every time wards were off CD/I had 200 gold, I got them.
Needless to say, he was still level 2 when we were level 6.

Not really, at least with other heroes, they can actually contribute to the team. If the meepo player has no idea wtf he's doing, then he is just gonna feed and be useless.

Well, dota 2's current micro managing system is pretty horrible atm. Also, didn't they say meepo won't be released till they've improved it?

From what I hear, legion commander combined with pudge results in some unholy monster that can solo even a farmed ursa and win.

All it does is edit the text files in your dota folder that show your default build, except with a nice graphical interface

He seems fun to play, if they're doing him like they did in HoN.
I used to rack up kills a lot early game, and tank heavy damage late game.
