why would you get bot when you have poof
you teleport to spawn in the middle of a fight and regen to full hp while the other meepos fight then you poof a hurt meepo to the one in spawn then you poof the newly regenerated one back into the fight repeat [editline]0[/editline] as seen here
In case I random Meepo in nearby future, any other tips than binding group hotkeys, managing wounded ones away, abusing Poof! damage on start and arrival and focusing single targets, prefferably fighting teamfights in controlled matter (i.e. after team initiates, rather than being initiated on) to avoid having 1 Meepo singled out and focused?

Poof from multiple Meepos do insane burst, which usually makes them trying to run away, make all Meepos whack on the single guy to stack the DoT till they die and/or cooldowns come up again. Squishy supports like CM and Lion are great targets for this method. (Altough Lion may burst one of your clones down.) Haven't seen Meepo in PvP fights but I think this is the method people should use.
OK, so I just had this game appear in my library, even though I don't remember applying to get it. How the fuck do I play it?
"- Pennants now work for any game that's part of a tournament." this is really good
If only the reward percentage would be higher...
If only the reward percentage would be higher...
Then one guy trades for a thousand and gets every drop.
If only the reward percentage would be higher...
Doesn't say it'll give out prizes. Might just update the fan score thing.
I'm going to pull a SingSing and talk about how hard my dick is right now. This game was fucking awesome. Syncness was pissed that the other team locked Lycan so he four warded Lycan's jungle and Lycan was pissed the fuck off. Me a Lion spanked top lane despite some bad creep pulling and we got Lycan's only Rosh attempt. Everyone was in-fucking-sync. It was amazing and I needed a game like that. Less than 20 min E Blade, Manta I didn't even have to use, Satanic was on the courier but I didn't get it to me in time. Fucking rocked.
I got this general idea for a hero stuck in my head. Remember when I was rambling how I would love to have Mordekaiser-ish (if you don't know who that is, just google) in Dota ? Well, how would a giant hulking empty armor, either automaton or cursed covering of a royal guard ("Even in death I serve", or "surf" if you are into WH40k) with abilities that hover around directly defending teammates fit Dota ? It's literally just raw idea, I didn't write anything down yet, but I am thinking about 2 abilities right now. 1 That decreases his turning speed dramatically, but makes him wider (he is already big, tidehunter big, maybe bigger), and any projectile/ranged attack that goes through him is negated. I am not sure how Source can handle negating auto-attacks, but stopping arrows and such seems interesting mechanic. 2. Ultimate would be "Entomb". Hero grabs enemy hero and traps him inside of his empty armor. That hero is silenced, can't use items but is also invulnerable as long as he is inside of this hero. Twist is, it lasts maybe up to 5, 6 seconds (depends on balancing of course) but it can be broken by dealing set amount of damage to the armor guy. If he traps carry, he becomes direct tank by forcing enemy team to blow all nukes on him and if he entombs a support or initiator, then they have a choice, fight 4vs5 or focus armor-guy. For balancing this further his movement speed could decrease while he is carrying enemy hero inside. I just want to see wether this is retarded to a level that entire page is dedicated to insult my brains, or maybe there is something interesting in there.
fuck third abandon, every single fucking abandon is from DOTA fucking up in some way. I didn't even bother rejoining this time it crashed, because it crashed again when I tried to start it up.
the ultimate is interesting, but I don't think the first ability is possible in WC3 and doesn't seem very useful ability.
Well, not for WC3, but we can't stick to it forever now, can we ? Dota has source, steam support and Valve's sign for a reason, and that reason was to break most of the boundries that WC3 had. It's great engine, robust working tool, but it has aged abit, unlike constantly updated Source.
Yeah, playing Meepo basically breaks your TAB-key. Hit 1 earthbind = Meepos raining all over you it's not even funny, followed by more nets and little rats bashing you with shovels which also slows. Very micro-intense, but worth the learning IMO. (Not gonna play him myself alot, I like simpler heroes.)
If you like the idea of microing to a degree but nothing as intense as Meepo, you could try Beastmaster or Enchantress or something like that. Beastmaster's relatively simple when it comes to microing but he's a powerful hero to be sure.

Hey windrunner, how u doing?
also I expected meepo to be voiced by nathan vetterlein i'm a bit sad he isn't but nolan north is still the master of voices
Practicing Meepo with bots is pointless. The bots are not yet aware of how meepo works/what to do with him.
Actually, they are versed in the ways of Meepo. They will not count a single Meepo as weak, but rather as a full force. They will try to deal extremely high nukes to a single Meepo and ignore all of the others. (I had Bane, CK and Vengeful Spirit ALL hammering the same Meepo (ulti, stun, ck crits) They will do ANYTHING to kill you before you are level 6.
I'm pretty sure Icefrog said he wanted to keep WC3 DOTA updated along side DOTA 2.
For a while, he didn't say that he wants to keep this state for ever. Dota 2 is Dota, but with greater potential. It's same game, new everything. Keeping Dota 1 forever equal to Dota 2 content wise is already impossible (matchmaking, customization, dota tv) and would be unwise to do so mechanically-wise. One of Dota most loved features are diverse heroes and mechanics. Would it be fair to the players if IceFrog decided to just stick to WC3 engine limitations (which are not that constraining, but still greater than that of Source) just so original Dota stayed up to par, when Dota 2 becomes Free to Play steamworks title with working workshop, matchmaking and much much more ?
There are only three things in the WC3 engine that are "uncodeable", two being dynamic range and buff timers. I forget the third. But yeah, Dota 2 is still way fucking better.

Especially if 6.75 is around the corner and coming with more heroes.

Also, Icefrog kinda switched form being limited to WC3 engine; Rubick wasn't able to steal transformation abilities like Chemical rage of Firefly from Alchemist and Batrider, but in D2 he can.

He couldn't spellsteal spells that had same hotkeys as his spells.
Wow, I actually won a game with OD. With a more than positive score aswell! Thought it would be impossible. Killed PA and Wisp twice, nightstalker ganked the shit out of everyone and ES drew first blood. Morphling ragequited and soon everyone followed.

Rest 10% goes to near-Russia countries including mine.
