Dota 2 General Chat - I, for one, welcome our new Chinese overlords - Games

Finally tried out Captain's Mode with 4 other friends. So much fun. My pick strategy worked, and we managed to win with Jakiro and Batrider against a fairly boring top tier team. Was really close up until the end where they made a mistake and we got an amazing team fight. Then Viper randomly abandoned (from afking I guess?) once it was clear we had the upper hand, other than that it was a great game though. Everyone was really friendly at the end.

I've made 3 Meepos ragequit as Lich today.

Can't believe this is happening. I'm actually getting decent at landing pudge hooks.

No Meepo, why did you ruin my win streak? Was winning every game I played today, then I get matched up with a group of people where one of them is brand new at Meepo, and another was Lycan. It wasn't fun, especially when the team acted like they were winning because [I]they[/I] were good, then proceeded to talk as much shit as possible.

While bots and players act differently, the heroes don't change!

As for the A-Z, well [personally] that's just a big load. The only experience you will benefit from is experience you can actually learn from, and in a game defined by how heroes interact with each other: this will only teach you the abilities of every hero (something you can learn by browsing the wiki). Check out your replays if it's a win or a lose, try and pinpoint exactly what's going on/what could have been done.

Okay then, one more question I have: is it possible to make the camera follow your character?

would orb of venom be good on meepo? I don't plan to play him, but i tested it in a bot game and the slow and damage stacks

Started off with a teammate saying "I know one of you assholes is going to try to pick Meepo, now who is it?". Cue to a teammate picking Meepo after I randomed Dazzle and I got paired with him bot lane. It somehow turned into a hilariously one side lane against Leshrac and Lina. Which lead to their Morphling saying "HOW DO YOU FEED THEIR MEEPO" before ragequitting.

I'm honestly not that bad at meepo, probably from years of playing command and conquer. But one problem I'm faced with is my lack of buals. I tend to try not to attack the enemy unless I know I won't get a clone burst down or something. Edit: Would Manta Style be a decent item to build on Meepo? Stat wise, it seems like it but what about the making illusions?
