Basilius --> Phase boots --> Force Staff --> Orchid --> luxury shit (MKB or linkens i guess) Best way to build.
no meka?? no scythe??
Have to watch that replay, 700ish gold per minute @_@
There is nothing special about it. Just a shit game.
no meka?? no scythe??
I tend to get disables I get mek if needed. Is euls any good on her? I've yet to get scythe on her. I'm fairly certain it'd be amazing tho.

Between Force Staff and Windrun you can get away from most things, Shackle Shot is amazing CC, and Arcane Boots gives enough mana and regen to cover. I always get Force Staff on her and then build into Scythe. Mek/Drum only if no one else is getting it.
except if the player is even moderately decent with meepo single-target burst won't do. es is probably the best counter-pick to meepo currently.
Riki is a way better counter, he could silence and cut down a jungling or lone meepo easily
Batrider is fun as fuck
Last night I played with a guy who instalocked Meepo. We asked him if he's played him before: "NOPE" Then we get through the game and I think he was actually MeePwn in disguise.
So for some reason, dark seer was the one that did bad this game.
In comparison to others, he was in sort of bad water... That's a lot of gold for the other team, and even though he has kills and assists, so do others like Invoker. But I don't think you can really judge it that well from score alone.
Except that set looks good, the lore on the items make them fit, and Sparkwire didn't make it, lol
I could make a pink rabbit outfit for prophet and say he wears it as a memorial of a poor pink rabbit he couldn't save from some evil poachers. That argument is pointless just because you can just take so many liberties with a paragraph of lore.
PC Gamer did a Dota 2 review http://www.pcgamer.com/review/dota-2-review
I had the most awesome game ever. quick version: 70 min game, from the very start we were failing hard, had no hope to win, AM did well, their DP was impossible to kill. Our base got raped, but while they were raping it our teamie was backdooring their rax and even their ancient towers. 2 of us pushed in, AM and me (venom). he kept enemies busy and gave me time to break their ancient long version (badly written, not worth your time, only left it here because it seemed like a waste to erase it after all this typing): [SUP]enemy DP got fed as fuck and would never die, their Tiny just blinked all over and instakilled me and my friend (we were both supports because all pubbies picked a carry) and if he had at least one ally anyone else. Fortunately we had AM who managed to get farm somewhere somehow and almost as much fed Riki. We managed to win teamfights if we used all the ulties and DP wasn't there. When they eventually got to the third tier mid Riki started constantly backdooring and while we were defending he managed to get top tower. After some time we still managed to hold them off. By the time we lost two raxes they had lost that many, too. Then after some won teamfights (thanks to AM mostly) we got to their base. While AM was tanking the whole enemy team i just right clicked their ancient to death.[/SUP] Never had this long game with Venom so had no idea what to buy. How stupid is Manta on him?
It’s this that is Dota 2’s main problem: a mistake or a misclick from any one of the five players on a team can confer a monstrous advantage on the opposition, turning matches into almost an hour of death by slow asphyxiation
It's a team-based strategy game, of course if one player isn't as cooperative or skilled as the rest of the team they're gonna have a huge disadvantage.
It's a team-based strategy game, of course if one player isn't as cooperative or skilled as the rest of the team they're gonna have a huge disadvantage.
He complains that his teammates were mad at him for being bad, somehow subtracting from the quality of the game The reviewer's stats: https://dotabuff.com/players/1212918 38% winrate, I can see why he's upset
PC Gamer did a Dota 2 review http://www.pcgamer.com/review/dota-2-review
It's always kinda weird and refreshing to hear a newcomer review DotA, makes me realize all the shit I went through to play the game at sub-par level.
PC Gamer did a Dota 2 review http://www.pcgamer.com/review/dota-2-review

Just by paddling around in League of Legends, I can see how deep that games goes. After 100 hours of Dota 2, I can’t even see the bottom. I’m not even sure there is one.
heh
no meka?? no scythe??
Only go that way if nobody else is a better meka carry. WR is far from a pure support. Scythe is good, though, just a bitch to save up for.
PC Gamer did a Dota 2 review http://www.pcgamer.com/review/dota-2-review
So wait, not SC 2 level matchmaking takes away 15 points? And SC2's matchamking supports what? max 6 people? (may not be accurate don't play it) And most of the time it will be 1v1, of course it will match the skill level for players better. Okay perhaps it was because of too much knowledge/skill required? That would mean that any game that requires skill is going to the wrong direction. Bad community? not the game's problem and what do you expect, to be praised for doing bad? I hate game journalists. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] Then again rating in points is a terrible thing and never is accurate when you rate all genres, AAA titles and indies the same way. It makes no sense and therefore it's meaningless
the best game rating system is kotaku's imo it just says "should you play this game? y/n" and gives you the two best things and the two worst
That's entirely subjective. There's reasons for playing and not playing a game, depending on your attitude you might enjoy the game. RPS does great reviews in regards to that
the best game rating system is kotaku's imo it just says "should you play this game? y/n" and gives you the two best things and the two worst
all rating systems are garbage. you should just read the article and form your own opinion instead of needing a number to tell you what to think. unfortunately kotaku is the trashcan of gaming 'journalism' and their reviews are written by five year olds so it's really not a good system at all.
All I do is look on metacritic and look at people + journalist review scores to see if people think its a decent game, then I look at gameplay videos to see if it's a fun game.
rockpapershotgun is the only site I trust for reviews they don't give any sort of score because scores are stupid, and game reviewers can't count below 7/10
It's an opinion after all. I know out there is some nerd who gave motherfucking Runescape 100/100 points because he's fan of the game. Since he is new'ish to the game (100 hrs is nothing) 85 points isn't bad score at all, if he had played it for about 400-600 hrs he may have given it a tad higher score.
Apparently, a good chunk of the new dota 2 community thinks meepo is underpowered and that he needs a buff. Mind I tell you these are the same people who thinks morphling can't carry.

Why the hell do we care so much about 8/10? Surely it should just be a thing of "should you play this game".

They are the people who instalock him because hes new and feeds for 20 min before leaving right?
Holy fuck I am so aggravated because of my last half dozen games.
I managed to single handedly take out a sven, juggernaut and ursa today. They were really incompetent.
Would WR carry work at all? It'd seem like it'd be good with her ult.
