Dota 2 General Chat - I, for one, welcome our new Chinese overlords - Games

Okay final straw. 5v3 I'm on the 3, manage to almost win but couldn't because it was 5v3 cause rage quit retards. I know I'm better than random pub assholes does anybody know of a website, Stean group, fucking ANYTHING where players smart enough to tie their fucking shoes can group up, and play a nice game of dota? I have not won a single match all day for reasons beyond the enemy team just bein better players.

Oh my god. I lost my last 3 games because of teammates leaving or purposely being stupid and feeding the other team. What the hell, I thought I've been done with getting these kinds of people on my team since like 3 months ago.

A place where random people can group up and not have to worry about someone not even speaking English.

However, you're probably at the skill level you belong at. Valve has been carefully balancing the game over and over. There is a video of Purge, I believe, explaining it. They experimented by raising a player up two standard deviations (not much) of the skill bracket, and over a few games the players would generally fall right back into the skill level they started at. However if you really think you're that much better than the people you're being matched with consistently, make some friends here or somewhere else and only play with them until you realize a change in the skill level you play at.

Would anyone like that idea?

we already have a group like that.

So I get a Lone Druid going jungle on my team. Me(witch doctor) our lina and rubick say that we will try to win early game so that he can farm "k" We get all tier 1s and get around 13 kills. Druid gets double midas. We get all the tier 2s with the help of our morph. Druid isnt getting anything. We start to lose because we cant win due to their omni/tide "win teamfight combo" and their spectre and weaver are starting to get really tanky and hard to kill. Druid isnt buying anything. He has 13,200 gold in his backpack. later he bought radiance, AC, upraded boots for himself and the bear and vlads, tried to solo the enemy team, died and then we lost (morph was going rambo as well).

I've never seen a good one in a pub and even pro LD's are boring as fuck to watch and not all the successful.

WAs playing with a guy who put phase boots on the bear and treads on himself, upon seeing this I was expecting some pro level shit from this guy but he sat in jungle until the 35 minute mark farming radiance, got ganked twice and lost his progress and then got mad.

He doesn't have a high enough attack rate to really make use of it. And he's not supposed to be farming the jungle, he's supposed to be stalking enemy heroes and killing them when they're low on HP or alone.

Or you can be both wrong because I got it so when I crit for 1300 I get a majority of my health back without returning to base because I had no regeneration items, it was the last item I picked up. This is also the first and only time I ever picked up a vlads, figured I get called dumb as shit for picking it up once. My normal build is medallion and desolator. The thing with Vlad's is that you're spending 21 hundred gold on it rather than on something more useful for him, so it slows down your acquisition of those other more useful items.

I was not, in your case, farming the jungle or getting a battlefury to become a lategame carry. If I could afford as heart I would had bought it. You also don't build bountyhunter as a farmer, you play him as a ganker unless there is nobody else on your team that has carry potential and you cannot gank anyone else. So 99% of the time vlads is useless unless in situations such as the one I am talking about where I crit for 1500. And another thing Is that I already had MOST of my items, and the game was about to end anyways. So unless you are calling me retarded because you though it was my first item, you are wrong because it was my last. Lastly if you do not think a high damage burst heal to yourself every 6 seconds lategame when you are winning is not going to help you, I feel really sorry for you.
