Playing with one of my friends is getting frustrating and he is my oldest DotA buddy. The one that plays the shit out of Bounty Hunter. He also plays Tide but will never, ever deviate from maxing Gush first, Kraken Shell second. Doesn't matter what the lane it, we could be against solo Broodmother, he won't fucking deviate. Never buys a Stout Shield for the early defense because "Why would I want something with less damage block AND chance than Kraken Shell?" Then when someone starts telling him what to do he gets totally fucking defensive and immediately puts that person on his shit list. That sounds like standard DotA Player Profiling but I know the guy isn't an idiot which makes crap like that really frustrating. God damn. I don't know how he lives on Dota 2 only playing three heroes (Bounty, Tide and Lion, in that order). I can hardly play the same hero, or even type of hero, two games in a row.
mfw Dragonus ult has a max damage of 1632 with his third skill on a 20 second cooldown. [sp]800 manacost[/sp]
I haven't played him in the original dota, but isn't his ult pretty hard to land?
it's sort of a prolonged sunstrike. sadly it works much better when you have a stunner because unless you have epic positioning even with your slow most people can wander out of the aoe [SUB]
mfw Dragonus ult has a max damage of 1632 with his third skill on a 20 second cooldown. I randomed treant, someone on our team went meepo. it ended up being one of my best games yet, I love treant so much now.
havent played dota2 since you left omg come back already!!!
I'll be home the second weekend in October!!! [editline]24th September 2012[/editline]
I've been matched with at least decent people for the past 3 months, but then all of a sudden today I've been getting the shittiest teammates ever.
That happens. There is no way to avoid it, but just try to play with people you know as much as you can. I don't know where I fall in the skill bracket but I have not run into a leaver or someone entirely incompetent in a long long time.
I heard that the brackets got merged a few months ago, how many brackets there were before the split? [editline]24th September 2012[/editline]
Valve changed it at one point to be all combat units, which means it won't select anything that can't attack like Healing Ward or Hawk. I just put the hawk in its own control group.
Don't you have to set groups each time you summon them?
I heard that the brackets got merged a few months ago, how many brackets there were before the split?
They didn't merge any brackets they just changed the labeling of them, and slightly bumped up the high end MMR cutoff of each bracket. Low -> medium Medium -> high high -> very high Also keep in mind that brackets are just a way of labelling a range of MMR values.
well if you're stomping that badly it doesn't matter what you build, it doesn't mean vlad's isn't trash on him
I'm not saying vlads is NOT trash on bh, I am just justifying why I got vlads for that game. I can safely agree 99% of the time vlads is trash on bounty hunter due to it not helping his ganking role, which the hero was created for.
I feel like a huge dick whenever I play axe against a squishy team. :< https://dotabuff.com/matches/43295431 Most of my kills were battle hunger, I never even bothered to use cull. The chaos knight wasn't doing so hot in his lane either, and he was just calling me bad the whole game
I've seen someone play 10 pages of antimage and still be trash at him, it was just terrible.
Well, there are people who just dont want to learn and keep doin shit. Sadly theyre always on my team :(
Because you can play a hero a thousand time if you don't play other you won'T be able to understand their own chain of thoughts and process which can harm your decision making, aka you act like an idiot.

As much as people don't seem to like them I kinda want to play the goblin techies. Just laying mines round the entire map and having a suicide ability is really nice as well as the damage it does. The suicide I feel might be a big deterant for people to attack you. Although their attacking sucks the potential defensive ability seems pretty cool
Everyone wants to play Techies. Ally techies: how do i mine? barrel system is too difficult i don't understand (I actually played with someone who said this) Enemy techies: exit base. explode.
Just played some games with Rarara, neither of them lasted more than 20 minutes due to early abandons. Even though it were some easy wins, it isn't fun to win like that.

I just prefer to max out Anchor Smash straight from the beginning at lvl1, and Gush just alongside it. If you manage your lane well and you get some goodies like Magic Wand, brown boots, bracer/drum/urn and TPs, you can become a reliable ganker. Or if your lane pushes because your lane partner doesn't know what he's doing, go gank mid. (brown boots suggested for doing this, and enough mana for 1 gush+anchor smashing) [editline]25th September 2012[/editline] Also randomed Barathrum which I have not played much, went 16-1. Thanks random matchmaking, I guess.
OMg namastee one time i was watching my brother play and HE was queued with you and i was like omGee thats that one guy from that one forum i go toooo!!!!!
is it normal for: Dark seer to have; Radiance, the start of a pipe, tranquil boots, and vanguard at 24 minutes In a 4v5. His lane partner left.
I'm surprised I've run into as many FP'ers as I have via random MM (more than none). I think I've seen three or four.
I'm surprised I've run into as many FP'ers as I have via random MM (more than none). I think I've seen three or four.
I have yet to see anyone. Such a shame.
I have yet to see anyone. Such a shame.
I've seen 3 in tribes and once I got into a game with that one facepuncher with the 'Blackbox enthusiast' title. Went something like this. But with the hat being facepunch.
So... We were getting mauled by the other team, until I stole qop's ulti, and literaly melted their faces with it. Triple kill including meepo aegis trigger. I gotta say, Rubick is just... Increadible. [editline]25th September 2012[/editline]
is it normal for: Dark seer to have; Radiance, the start of a pipe, tranquil boots, and vanguard at 24 minutes In a 4v5. I laughed my ass off when he came out of nowhere with the flames coming out of himself.
Am I wrong to assume techies has microing like meepo?
You lay down mines with Techies. Having enemies run over your traps and exploding is a fantastic feeling. The only problem is that they can barely teamfight, so they just become dead weight pretty quickly. It causes the game to slow down immensely, though.
Last record was 730 gold/min, this was quite good round. Pretty much same items as in last record game, except I didn't have BKB last game. (the rapiers Pudge and Zeus have were bought by me)
the QUOTA.
goddamn, when I play with people in a party as blodseeker, I go 1/14 when I play by myself, I go 22/3 stupid matchmaking
