Yep, that's who I saw today in my game. He and Leshrac on his team played well but we ended up winning due to me (CK) and our AM outcarrying his Viper.

Kind of. The mines detonate on proximity. Ult is remote mine though. It's not really micromanaging much, more of planning your moves. The model fro them is 3 little goblins though. What makes them is their "E".
Some one tries to attack you and you just turn around and blow up in their face.

While yes her ult is awesome if your not paying attention a Spell shield will screw you over.

yeah, quick number crunching, and Zeus has higher nuking. QoP's two screams total 900 damage (1025 w/ Agh) before resistances. Zeus gets 955 (1055 w/ Agh) +11% (times 3) with his combo of Chain + Bolt + Ult + passive. But then you have to consider QoP's ult has a lower CD and higher damage, both her screams are AoE and not single target (though Zeus' ulti is global), and Zeus has lower CD's on both his normal spells... There's a lot to consider. I'd say they're the same strength.

Anyone here having problems with pathing?
Several times I've clicked on the minimap to go somewhere, when for example running away from a huge gank, walking somewhere in general, etc, the pathing system seems to be somewhat off and take me in the opposite direction.
I've died because for some reason, I've literaly slowed down to turn back to see the enemy, and resume my fleeing, ending in being caught by them due to that small "mistake".
Just today, someone also complained about that pathing, and I've seen in other games people complaining about it, and I aswell have died a few times because of stopping to turn to the enemies and then turn back and keep on running.
Anyone has had this problem?
i had that problem but only due to me clicking on the minimap back to the fountain of the enemy, because i tried to run away too much :V (only happens when im on sentinel)
the opposite happens when im chasing when im scourge, haha

I think it also happens if I click on the normal terrain, especially because I use it more than the minimap when running.
Fun fact: If Meepo gets aegis and you kill one of his clones (who doesn't has aegis), he dies and ressurects just like any normal hero, except it actually counts as a death for him, and a kill for whoever killed him, complete with exp and gold.
I hope this sub-forum grows to the likes of the Team Fortress 2 sub-forum.

I think over time, especially after release, a lot of people will show up but the retention rate will be shit because Dota.
Look at all the stories of people who try to get their friends into it. "I gave my buddy a key and he played two games and then never again." isn't uncommon. I've given some keys away and that has happened.

I try to get my friends to play this instead of LoL, but they get too frustrated. I've given away 3 or 4 keys to people who only played 1 or 2 games.

Hopefully it isn't released to the public until Valve makes a good tutorial for it.
Not a shitty control-scheme overview, like a good tutorial that explains gameplay mechanics like roles and lanes, etc.

oh shit, so that's why it showed in the side that meepo just got killed.
i was allied with a meepo that had an aegis, when he was killed it showed in the announcements or shit so i went back. then he resurrected with aegis, got killed again, proceeded to flame the fuck out of me for leaving him behind :V
I saw a good meepo today, and I felt like an asshole, because me and two other people told him to not pick him
Also an enemy made fun of him when he killed naga's illusions instead of the real one, then everyone went "LOL UNDYING, THOSE WEREN'T ILLUSIONS" when meepo killed him

I got to witness my key wasted firsthand, played a game with a dude I gave a key to, he did shit and instantly started trashtalking and raging and then got mad and fed on purpose and disconnected 10 minutes in and abandoned. Then he never spoke to me again after that match and removed me like a week later and never touched the game again.

There is the "How To Play Dota 2 In 4 Minutes" video in the OP, I think they should play that for every new player. Anyone who picks the first two "skill selections" when they first start.

Another bug with meepo is that if he DC's, allies can't use his clones.
