So no, you haven't played them apparently. 2 are "modern", 1 is WW2, and the other is Vietnam with WW2 flashbacks. The only similarities are gameplay. COD4 added shit like the AC130 level, MW2 expanded it with AC130s and helicopter gunnery for MP. MW2 also adds shit like Coop and to a degree racing. WaW gave us zombies and BLOPs took everything from the previous titles and mashed it into their setting.

In the story they say, "The Russians begin a blitz across Europe!" What...What is this bullshittery? If they were planning too invade America wouldn't they have to blitz Europe/Middle East too secure a way to make sure the Americans just don't launch a massive bombing raid, and not even that wouldn't they have to take out NATO, and allies of NATO? The story just seems pretty shit, and jam right about now.

My friends and I just made a pact not to get it. Fool me once, shame on Activision, fool me twice shame on me, fool me 3 times.... and I will have wasted $150 on a lackluster series. So yeah, not getting fooled again.
I will say this though. I honestly thought match making was better than a server browser.
It's so much easier to get friends into a lobby and then having the game pick the matches for you rather than joining a server and telling your friends to look for the server name or IP or whatever. It's much more convenient to use matchmaking. At least IW had the damn decency to make the DLC map packs an entire separate lobby from the game so those who didn't buy it weren't booted out of a server for "Missing DLC_01" like in Black Ops.

I have played CoD4, WaW, MW2, and BLOPs (only bought two of them though) and I can say in complete honesty that they are the [b]same fucking thing[/b]. Just some different models and maps and that's it my friend.
