The killstreaks in MW2 were a bunch of overpowered bullshit. The killstreaks in Black Ops were okay, on the other hand.

the killstreaks in mw2 are nowhere near as annoying as being raped by a fucking apache pilot 6 times a game in BC2, or if you see a tank and you're any class other than an engineer all you can do is run and hide with your tail between your legs and pray that that he didn't see you fleeing

At least the apache takes skill or at the very least some form of interaction to control. Getting 7 kills (6 with hardline) in a row just to be given free kills so you can get a chopper gunner which gives you loads of kills and then enable you to end the game prematurely with a nuke. Fun.

Except that in BC2, you first need to get into that vehicle and actually be able to control it, as well as worry about that anyone can easily destroy your vehicle. In MW2, you just need to get a bunch of kills and you'll get something that you use by just pressing one button and then have it do all the work for you while others are pretty much completely unable to do anything about it.
I've bought every Call of Duty since the inception of the series. The first few were amazing and I thought COD4 was fantastic turn for the series as well.
That being said, I got SUCKERED by friends into buying the latest in the series for LAN parties. I will NEVER buy another COD game again. You can argue all day long but in the end, CODBLOPS is the number one selling game ever and it proves again how stupid consumers are: Release the same game over and over with a fresh coat of paint and charge $60 for it. Now with multiple teams and Kotick on it like Blue Bonnet, we'll probably see a new COD every 6 months... and they sheep will buy it. Don't even get me started on the $15 map packs every 3 months...
In the end, COD is a disease of the gaming world. Why do people keep feeding the hog?
Ey, even with it looking as generic and reskin-y as it does, I'm probably gonna buy it. Because I know I'm gonna get hours and hours of gameplay out of it.
I might buy it if I get it somewhere for cheaper. I had pre-ordered Black Ops like a week before release for something like 30$. I think that's a fitting price for a Call of Duty game.

BF3 looks like MoH right now to be honest, although i can't really say anything about the multiplayer since no footage of it has been released, i'll probably still buy it and MW3 since im a fan of both series anyway even with all the haters of CoD.
