You'd think that they could afford to make a new engine every game
That is the exact point. Why make any improvements or a new engine when you can print money with the same ol graphics, gameplay and MP? It's just like WoW. That make needs a major overhaul.. but why? People keep buying the same thing over and over in the millions. Quit feeding the pig.

Lol so really just some new dlc. And slightly different weapons.
Please everyone for the love of god, i dont care if you buy it or whatever but please; Do not give it a really shitty derogatory nickname such as cockops etc. It makes you look like a 12 year old.
Carl on Dooty: Black Cops?

I'll probably end up buying this cheaply somewhere, same as with the last two. Not really worth the ridiculous full price Bobby pulls out of his arse every year. I enjoy the single player however short it is and however completely laughably 'Go Americer yeaw' the plot is. And the multiplayer is fun for a while, although the moment they start selling map packs I stop playing altogether.
It's not graphically demanding, but it's so badly optimized.
If ive seen anything from COD is that it actually manages to look good and run smooth.
[img_thumb]http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/9/2011/05/medium__ak47_iw5.jpg[/img_thumb] what have they done to the ak-47 god it looks more like that chinese gun from crysis instead of an ak
They needed to appeal to their true audience, so they made a tactic00l Babby's First Ak47.
If ive seen anything from COD is that it actually manages to look good and run smooth.
I dunno which Blops you played on PC then.
Rate me a late and a liar, but I am not going to spend this much money on a game
Rate me a late and a liar, but I am not going to spend this much money on a game
What, the same price most games are for console, or newly released games, that's fine no worries.
What, the same price most games are for console, or newly released games, that's fine no worries.
I still dont think i'll buy it for that much though
I still dont think i'll buy it for that much though
No loss to anyone though.
What, the same price most games are for console, or newly released games, that's fine no worries.
yah, but you're not supposed to charge 60 bucks for a pc game, thats fucking bull shit. Bobby Kotik needs to go take it up the ass from an elephant, that fuck is ruining the gaming industry.

As I already stated I am looking forward to it. I can't deny I enjoy the gameplay.
blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand [editline]14th May 2011[/editline] Probably explains why I have more fun blowing bubbles than playing video games now, they are just BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND
After 24 Hours of this game been released I bet that at least 30% of the people that buy it will claim that it's absolutely shit. I say this because it has happened with every other Call of Duty game in the past.
i'm not ashamed to say i'm going to buy it anyway COD is a fun game whether you admit it or not. you know it is. you're a lying faggot if you say otherwise. i'm willing to pay for the price tag knowing it's going to have the fun formula it's always had because I don't have the money or time to invest in other games that could possibly be good but also have the possibility of being fatally bad, too "wah it's mainstream so it must be bad" wrong it's mainstream because it's good and you're the one that's bad because your shitty pro-indie opinion is the stupidest thought process ever. go back to jamming the mars volta in your no-friends corner and leave casual gaming to those of us who look at all games fairly
bookmarked list of liars
consists of all of the crybabies in this thread who claim not to buy the game but who will because they're liars started may 14 proch c0nk3r masterg
take the challenge! just cry about how you're not going to buy MW3 in this thread so you can be added to the list of liars! don't be shy, now!

Challenge accepted, add me on that list.

I may pick it up 2nd hand, but i don't have much desire to grab it any where near release date. COD needs to revamp something. I know it's been said before, and i'm sure OP will swagger in here making some "GTFO MY THREAD WITH DIFFERING OPINIONZ!!! U R ON THE LIAR LIST!!!" but i just feel like they keep shitting out the same system knowing it will make them money. I'm not saying it's a flawed system (fast food? How much of that is really "ground breaking"? I have 3 burger joints within a block of each other and they are all the same. It's good business) but i personally don't care for it. I played Modern Warfare 2, and i liked it. But i felt completely screwed over by the fact that you get a days worth of single player, and then you are pretty much expected to play multiplayer to get your moneys worth. I don't often play Multiplayer, it's just not fun for me. I enjoy the story, and while it wasn't the best, the gameplay was fun, but just stupidly brief. But again, i can't fault them for working with a successful system. It's like how most other companies anymore seem to be of the mind-set "Push the game the fuck out, and we'll fix it later...maybe...if sales warrant it. But we can't take focus away from the sequel!"
Glad to see everyone's calmed down with the arguments. Now, time to analyze what we've given in the story: [sp]Why is Russia chemically attacking England? I mean, the SAS may've been ratted off to the government by Makarov - but killing tens of thousands of people with no warning or declaration of war because of two soldiers who KILLED A GENERAL OF AMERICA is the best response? Herp derp. Soap and Price seem important at first - and then are ironed out for an American squad to finish the job. Delta Force, yes, but nonetheless two Americans with only codenames instead of actual given names (so far) somehow get involved in the Makarov chase (why are they helping two guys who killed Shepard? Is it that easily forgotten?) and end up killing Makarov themselves. Why the fuck is Russia suddenly turning into an expy of Nazi Germany mixed with Terrorism? They attacked America for retribution - and now they're attacking EVERYONE. Germany, Czech, England. Is it because these nations are allied with the US or is Makarov's kidnapping of the Russian president literally allowing him to fucking control the entire government and army of Russia? And finally, it actually doesn't sound like there's much to the campaign itself; at max, there's 10-13 levels.[/sp]
[sp]Russia attacking everyone makes absolute sense, NATO is made so that if someone attacks one of the nations, or if one of the nations attacks someone, everyone in NATO helps[/sp]
I'd be funny if MW3 somehow is the best CoD to date, I mean shits balanced, fun gameplay, long campaign.
Is that the same fucking engine ITS BEEN FOUR SEQUEALS IM SO MAD I CANT EVEN SPELL PROPERLY
they make improvements and get more out of the engine with each game compare Call of Duty 2 to Modern Warfare 2 / Black Ops. There's a pretty big difference in terms of graphics Besides, that's what Valve's been doing since 2004 - reusing an engine is perfectly fine
I'm expecting a world war one game after the whole modern warfare series end, If they are not thinking of making any upgrades to engine so they can surely handle a massive scale war after we upgrade for battlefield 3 and have fun like crazy...
[sp]Russia attacking everyone makes absolute sense, NATO is made so that if someone attacks one of the nations, or if one of the nations attacks someone, everyone in NATO helps[/sp]
[sp] But didn't the terror attack in MW2 show that the U.S. had completely lost the support of the other NATO countries? Never mind the fact that Russia's military is in such a horrible state that them being able to invade western Europe, let alone the United States, is laughable. Seriously, Poland by itself would probably be able to hold its own against the modern Russian Army. [/sp]
