Your attitude here is no different than the "prepubescent whining shitbags who foolishly buy the same, basic game year after year."
I for one hope that MW3 turns out to be good so that it gives DICE a run for their money and encourages them to make BF3 an even better game. As much as I'd hate to say it, I think some of the BF fans here do secretly want to see MW3 fail, just so that they can gloat and feel better about themselves for being right once again. But that's not good. We need competition if we want to see better games. If you all think that BF is such a good series, then how much better do you think it could be if DICE actually had some proper competition?
I was really expecting the siege of Moscow but I guess all the different locations are cool too.
That was the plan but they realized Russia doesn't have an "e" so they had to scrap it.
[img_thumb]http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/7/79000/1731712-thats_the_joke_super.jpg[/img_thumb]
Backpedal more please.
If MW3 doesn't have the horrible balancing issues of MW2 I might buy it since I skipped Black Ops and paying $60 every couple of years for essentially the same game is better than doing it every year.
The Model 1887's are back, not only that, they have been 'tacticool'd. The game wont be balanced.
The 1887s were balanced pretty well a month after release actually. It only took them so long because a hard to pin down bug was causing each individual pellet from the shot to do full damage on contact with an enemy.
The Model 1887's are back, not only that, they have been 'tacticool'd. The game wont be balanced.
Because a gun that was overpowered is back in another game means that they're going to be overpowered again? A completely different company is working on multiplayer
I don't see how poeple even can argue about games.
I don't see how poeple even can argue about games.
Read the past 16 pages and you'll get the jist off it.
I wish there was a way to purchase story-wise part and not the multiplayer , for like 25$. It's probably gonna be generic CoD MP with different guns , but who knows I'll decide to buy this game or not when I'll gameplay vids.

Seems pretty interesting, I'd like to purchase it, as long as it's better than Black Ops.
Seems pretty bland, I wouldn't like to purchase it, as long as it's not better than COD4.
Rumors, there would be a beta. Hopefully, if not, this sucks. CoD4 was great thanks to its beta.
I'll buy MW3, if anything just for the sake of 'competitive gaming' on Gamebattles or whatnot. The newer COD games are actually fun with friends when you remove all the god-awful perks and weapons that ruin the balance of things. I'm a console player, but I have absolute respect for the old classic games that I do actually still frequently play (Morrowind, Fallout 2-Fallout: NV, Deus Ex) on my pretty shitty computer.
I smell sour milk.
remove all the god-awful perks and weapons that ruin the balance of things.
Why don't you play a more balanced FPS?
Skyrim comes out 4 days later, I think i will hold off for that.
I think I'd rather wait to see what Respawn is going to come up with. Now that will be worth the wait, since they'll be able to do what they want without being pressured by Activision's impossible deadlines.
That was the plan but they realized Russia doesn't have an "e" so they had to scrap it.
this will all change with mw4 YOU KNOW IT'S HAPPENING PEOPLE DON'T TRY TO DENY IT
really? because i spent $80 on blackops just to realize it was complete shit [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] my brother may get it but i wont play it if it seriously has a monthly subscription
When will people learn that MW3 WILL NOT have a subscription? The subscription game we keep hearing about is something different from this. [editline]17th May 2011[/editline]
I don't see how poeple even can argue about games.
People LOVE to badmouth CoD. It's in their souls already. I can't say its a great game, but all the hate is a pure bandwagon, even with Activision's decisions. Although, Black Ops could have been alot better. Not story wise, but, in everything else.
I miss the good old days of COD2's rifles only servers.
call of duty is a terrible terrible game and yes I own mw2/blops
Probably just going to rent this.
I'd love to buy this. Oh wait. £60 on launch, horrible post-launch support and a short campaign. Perhaps my £60 would be better spent on buying Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, and Hitman Absolution.
What the fuck! £60 for them games? CoD is £35 here, so its not £60 like your crying about https://www.sainsburysentertainment.co.uk/en/Call-Of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-3/product.html?product=E10907213

And the console versions are going for £45, which again, I never see any game selling for that much other than the new COD releases. Dont know where he got £60 from though...
I'm probably going to get this then regret it in about March because Activison has a no update policy. Also November is going to be an expensive month. Skyrim MW3 MGSR AC3
