What's new about this one?
vehicles and that's about it
What, this is not a joke? This is the actual game material? WHOAHAHahahahahaHAHAAHAhahaha are you fucking kidding me. Looks like MW2 DLC. [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] No seriously, when I read this I thought it was a parody.
Wasn't going to buy it anyway.
Wasn't going to buy it anyway.
We don't care, so don't post if you don't like the game.
... Or what Shadow Warrior did in 1997
thank you for the nuclear missile forklift nostalgia attack <3
Best Selling Game of 2011/2012.
is there going to be a thread every time new info gets shit out? I thought facepunch hated CoD, why does it get so many threads? Especially when the posts are pretty much a circlejerk of hatred
no; you're a liar. that's why every november call of duty rocks the sales floor in every store more than any other game and the sales increase with each year
jesus fucking christ you are dumb. i will not buy MW3 so please add me to your list of liars. i did not buy WaW or Blops either so you better add a bunch of swirly lines next to my name to indicate how big of a liar I am.
Add me to the liar list. COD has sucked since COD4.
We don't care, so don't post if you don't like the game.
yeah I don't understand why people come in to this thread just to say it will suck and that they won't buy it
Considering Battlefield 2 consumed a lot of my free time when it came out, and still does time to time, I think I'll spend my money on it instead. There's something about the Call of Duty games after CoD4 that just can't keep my attention more than 2 months.

Not really, I've been playing TF2 regularly since launch.
Not really, I've been playing TF2 regularly since launch.
Then that's even longer, but being interested in a single game for 2 months is pretty damn long.
I played and enjoyed MW2 for it's multiplayer, but black ops turned me off the series forever it is still entirely unplayable for me with constant stuttering, no sign of a patch ever and the gameplay was so dull compared to MW2 (and the maps) that I doubt I'll buy it I'll probably play my brother's copy on console but that's it
MW3 is another the same game like how it happened after cod 2 In my opinion the best CoD was United Offensive, I really felt the heat of battle...
COD is a fun game whether you admit it or not. you know it is. you're a lying faggot if you say otherwise.
no sorry CoD is a terrible franchise they feature a ~7 hours long singleplayer campaign where you shoot respawning enemies until your teammate kicks open the door leading to the next area. Said teammate, and probably the player character as well, will probably be killed off at the end for ~dramatic effect~ even though there hasn't been any character development at all (giving a character a skimask with a skull painted on does not count as character development). Terribly overpriced DLC (15 bucks for 5 maps is NOT okay! The Ballad of Gay Tony, which offers tons of new content sells for what 20 bucks?) (btw maps =/= hats. so shut the fuck up anyone who brings up this worthless argument.) A mildly entertaining multiplayer brought down by a terrible fanbase and unbalanced elements (jesus christ MW2's mp was a mess. blops took a step in the right direction but cod's mp can't be good as long as there are killstreak rewards- getting spawnkilled by a chopper for the fifth time is not fun) And with a development time of what two years, what makes you think this game will be any different? Also, remember that MW3 is the continuation of the Swiss cheese that is MW2's plot.

Funfact: The Magpul FMG is just a Glock 17 on a new frame.
The only COD games I have bought are COD4 and W@W, which I personally love. The two newest ones found their way to me through gifts. I'm done with Call of Duty, horrendous cliche shitfests of games. Yet all the people will continue to milk it for all its worth. There is no fucking way this can stand up to Battlefield 3 in my eyes.
Well, maybe I'm not gonna buy it, if you know what I mean :smug: [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] Play it at a friend's, of course
The only CoD games I bought were CoD1 and CoD2, I won't buy this seeing how after CoD2 there was no good CoDs.
Goddamn I love this. No, not the games, I usually just rent them or play my brother's copy for the incredibly short campaign and maybe to pop on to multiplayer to see that they still haven't balanced the matchmaking for shit and that the community is still full of pretentious wiggers (Although, admittedly, I did give quite a bit of unwarranted hype to Black Ops during the pre-release phase). I just love how Facepunch reacts every time Activision announces a CoD game. You've got the typical naysayers who say redundant shit that everyone already knows, like how it's short and tedious and unbalanced. You've got few-and-far-between rational people who may enjoy the games but understand their shortcomings, saying something positive or questioning something about the released information and talk about the actual game in question. You've got the hipsters who think it's really cool to love Call of Duty and defend it on Facepunch (Which is ironic, because they are basically being hipsters towards a hipster community), and then you have the blatant trolls like 69105, who act like they are the aforementioned hipsters but are clearly just trying to get a reaction out of people. But hey, I at least can't blame people like 69105. The general Facepunch community always overreacts to trolls, however blatant they may be, so in that case: :munch:
Funfact: The Magpul FMG is just a Glock 17 on a new frame.
It was even supposed to disguised as a briefcase too.
The only CoD games I bought were CoD1 and CoD2, I won't buy this seeing how after CoD2 there was no good CoDs.
Eh, I thought Call of Duty 4 was nice.
Oh god no, the fucking Model 1887's are back. So that confirms akimbo's back, and those fucking shotguns are back AGAIN.
CoD is pretty damn fun in my opinion, you guys not buying it just means that there won't be as many "NO FUN" guys playing it. CoD singleplayer is always good, and multiplayer is what I expect. Take your CoD hate somewhere else, if you want to give your opinion in this thread, fine, but don't babble on and on about your life story with CoD (Example: OH...I DIDN'T BUY ANY COD AFTER COD4, THE SERIES SUCKS" etc...). Also, Battlefield 3 is looking fucking awesome, but I fear that it won't have the feeling that the Battlefields before Bad Company had. One thing that bugs me is when someone says something like "BATTLEFIELD 3 WILL CRUSH COD RAAAAH". I don't see how that will happen, they're two different games, and they each have their different type of gameplay. If I want the fast-paced CoD action, I get my fix with CoD, if I want a large map to play in with vehicles and shit, I go play Battlefield. Games are supposed to be fun, but you guys ruin it with shit about how it's repetitive and they're just milking the series. It's as simple as people saying they don't like CoD and moving on with their life, but they just have to go and spread their opinions, wasting their time, the time that they could use to play the game that they find better.

Is it going to use the same engine as MW2?
