I'm more than likely going to rent it. I do enjoy CoD single player, but I don't really see the appeal to the online. I didn't buy Black Ops because I knew it was just gonna disappoint me. 60 bucks for 4 hours of campaign? No thanks, I'll borrow it from a friend.
If they had good dedicated servers then I'd consider buying it when it's cheaper.
Not going to pay 59.99 (full retail price..) for yet another CoD game, though. Nobody should, Even if the game is "good" or "solid" or whatever people call it now. You shouldn't be paying that much money for a game thats the same as the last 20 CoD games made.

I agree. I remember reading about WaW in magazines, and I knew it was going to be a great game. It was a nice closing to CoD's WW2 setting. The maps were my favorite as well, and there were fucking tanks which added a good challenge to multiplayer.

I personally think CoD is a good game, my gripe though is that they seem to be releasing the same shit over and over again, and it's really getting repetitive. At least Battlefield had brought something new to the table over the years with destructible environments, emphasis on team based combat, and actually thinking. Yet so far CoD has been the exact same concept over and over again with a few weapons swapped and model changes, all with the same weird and shitty story to tag along. I'll admit the singleplayer has some nice moments that are really awesome, but that doesn't make the game amazing, and the multiplayer seems to boil down to who can get the best gun, sprint around like idiots more, and who can get a strong kill streak the quickest(I think killstreaks are retarded the way they are presented)
Overall, decent games but definitely not worth $60, the praise of most teenagers, or 9/10-10/10 review scores.

Bf1942, Vietnam, Bf2, 2142 are all virtually the same just different settings. Still great games.
Half Life hasn't changed except graphically. Same goes for CS and DoD.
Mass Effect 1 and 2 only have minor changes
If I want to play a hollywood shooter with explosions, ridiculous guns, plots, and characters I play CoD. If I want tactical and realism shit I play Arma or RO. People rag on CoD but never give explanations.

Explain to me how it's a bandwagon to have very low expectations for a game series that has been the exact same since 2007. Please explain.
It's a series that has been going on for too long and it gets praised for being unoriginal and just being a general timekiller.
