In case anyone is still wondering what the [i]real[/i] "Path of Borealis" and "Route to C17" songs are, "Path of Borealis" is a HL2 remix done by DJ Dain titled "That Long Train Ride". "Route to C17" is a song by Glenn Z aka SamuraiPanda titled "The end of all things" which i think was done for a now long dead HL2 zombie mod.

I would like to make it clear that these are definitely not official songs from the soundtrack, especially considering I'm the composer of "Track 23". Please visit OCRemix or search Youtube for a song called "Doomed" by rimco and you will see. I don't care if people spread my music, but to do so without giving credit is wrong, and I don't appreciate it. Plenty of other people have used my stuff without permission but with credit given, and as long as they do that then I don't mind. Too bad this is such an old thread and won't ever be seen, but in case anyone stumbles along, I just wanted to clear that up. Please don't use people's work without giving them proper credit. Path to borealis isn't very original...just repeats 3 chords throughout the whole song, becoming more intense with more sound/suspense then just doing the opposite toning it down becoming quieter...

Anyhow what were those blue tentacle things I saw in a video where it dragged/slammed a combine soldier?
