The final boss of Star Ocean 4 is hard, especially because you have to walk along an invisible path to get to him and if you go the wrong way you have to fight a previous boss again, and there was no way to save or restock items for at least an hour beforehand. Also, the boss is surrounded by tiny enemies which have huge levels of health and he can't be damaged until they are destroyed. And he can regenerate them.
Jinpachi Mishima and Azazel (Tekken 5 and 6, respectively).
Most annoyingly cheap fighting game bosses since the old Mortal Kombat times, frustration to the point of controller breakage.
Mysterio in Spiderman 2, it took me years to beat the fucker.
Strider at the end of HL2:Ep1 made me rage so hard because it took me 3 tries to beat it,
Then again, I was on Expert.

Fucking this.
Spiderman two was a truly excelent game
Spiderman on the GBA, Mysterio as the final boss. He was fucking impossible. He would keep teleporting across the screen, making copies of himself, and flying around launching fireballs. Everytime he would hit you, you would play a falling animation where you fall backwards and have to get up, and by the time the 5 second animation finished, his attack recharged so he hit you down again, over and over. Never did beat that fucker.
The button mashing chaos at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4.

Funny story. I was playing through that final part with cheats to see how easy/fast it'd be. The strider dropped like a sack of bricks pretty quick.
Then another fucking strider rides in and repeats the process. Puzzled, this repeats three more times before I decide to noclip and find out what's going on.
Turns out the game will keep respawning striders until you run about the map on the proper path. Once you reach the end of that path, the striders won't respawn. Funnier yet, the respawned striders go THROUGH the cityscape in the background, and at one point even went through the trainstation, the parts you can walk in, itself.
Anubis in the vector tunnel in Zone of the ender 2, i so raged on that one.

RRRRRR LIQUID!
Oh and the Final Boss to Kingdom Hearts. Idk how hard he really is cause I tried to beat him when I was young but it was like,
"HEY YOU BEAT ME... NOW BEAT ME FOUR MORE TIMES!"

That kingdom hearts guy was realllllllyyyyyy annoying and difficult.
Tekken 3... :psyboom:
[editline]02:09AM[/editline]
Well that doctor guy in Tekken 3... I'm not sure if it was the final boss, but you just couldn't kill him... :v:

Ocelot was hard, really hard.
Probably Lance from Pokemon FireRed, fuck his goddamn Aerodactyl.
I thought the boss at the end of MGS3 was kinda hard. It took getting used to her patterns.

I rated you funny.
This is why:

not really an end boss, but try beating the star destroyer in Force Unleashed on PC WITH A MOUSE
it's like the only way to drag it down fast enough is to have a seizure with the mouse on your hand
Fable II. :colbert:
hey guise how about that Destroyer from Borderlands? :D
Seriously though, General RAAM from Gears.
Fable II. :colbert:
I wish that fucker was harder, wanted to kick his ass after he killed my dog
Seriously though, General RAAM from Gears.
I was thinking the same thing, took me a few tries to get the bastard on Hard.
Not really the Final boss, but
culex.
The 16th Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus.
Ram on GoW 1 on insane difficulty, it was fucking impossible.
I was thinking of the Shadow queen from Paper Mario when I saw the thread. I still haven't beaten her, tried multiple times and eventually gave up.
She's a real bitch, your dodging has to be spot on for that all powerful screen filling rape attack
Took a long time to beat her
Not really a final boss, but Seymour on Mt. Gazaget was insanely hard.
In fact fighting Seymour was hard every time.
That one guy from Super Smash Bros Brawl. I can never dodge he attack where he does that thing with is weird looking wings. Its just a really cheap way for him to knock you off the edge. Plus you only get 5 lives to kill him and
Smithy from Super Mario RPG. His hammer attack and dark star attack always downed everyone in my group. When you beat him you have to beat him a second time, which he is even harder. He changes his form every time.
