Prototype by far.
I havnt played many 'platformers' -90's games so I dont know about them.
But the last boss of prototype took me a while to defeat and was hard.
Final boss on Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja, without potions.
RRRRRR LIQUID!
Oh and the Final Boss to Kingdom Hearts. Idk how hard he really is cause I tried to beat him when I was young but it was like,
"HEY YOU BEAT ME... NOW BEAT ME FOUR MORE TIMES!"
Final boss in the Colosseum was harder (but it did have a soundtrack that kept you going). At least I think he was, long time I haven't played KH.
Blinx the Time Sweeper's 6-9 bosses were impossible to do without pauses.

Bitch please, was easy.
Sephiroth on the other hand, at level 52 :ohdear:
Took me two hours :canada:
It was awesome.

Yeah I meant Sephiroth, wasn't he the last one in the Colosseum?
I got a few in mind, not all are final bosses though:
º Very first boss in MDK 2 (Dreamcast version, not PS2 version), some enormous ship, quite difficult.
º Mr. X in Streets of Rage 3... you die it's game over, I don't even think there was any continue or extra lives to respawn with, it was just plain game over.
º In Gunstar Heroes, I think it was called Seven Force? That thing would change in multiple forms, very long and tedious to beat.
º Kintaro in Mortal Kombat II :(
º Pretty much any bosses in Blaster Master (NES).
At the moment, Sindragosa from WoW.
The hard part about it is that theres always the same retards that panic and fuck up even after 20 attempts.
I've been busy with glue and pieces of my keyboard because of it.
Bioshock
:v:
he was so disappointing.
Final fantasy 10 was a hard boss if you didn't have the 3 special aeons which i didn't :(
Jecht or Yu-Yevon? understandable if it was Jecht but Yu-Yevon kills all your Aeons after you fight Jecht anyways :(
Yunalesca was the worst boss I think
High Health/Large Attack/High Defense do not a boss make.
A truly difficult boss character has SOME cheap attacks, Reasonable health and attacks BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY They must be UNPREDICTABLE.
So in short: RPG bosses with crazy stats dont count, bullet hells dont count. They are just tedious which people mistake for difficulty.
Except KH sephiroth. Fucker is genuinely hard even at level 70
Kotor 1: [sp]malak[/sp]
Kotor 2: [sp]Kreia[/sp]
took me a while to kill them.
The boss monster in prototype (forgot name) i never did beat her :(
[editline]04:54PM[/editline]
Oh and Fable 1:[sp]TLC boss Jack of blades Dragon[/sp]
fable 2 boss was Surprisingly Piss easy for me
[editline]04:55PM[/editline]
fable 1's boss was easy as well.
º Pretty much any bosses in Blaster Master (NES).
On several of the bosses, you could hit them with a bomb and pause for infinite explosions/damage. Cheap tactic, I know, but it got me through a couple of stages I couldn't handle at the time.

That was the easiest boss fight in the whole game, excluding the big circular thing you have to fight as max.
Zeus in God of War III on Chaos-difficulty.
Still haven't beaten him. He creates 10 clones of him and they can all kill me in 1 hit, usually they gang up on me causing instant death no matter what.
Tekken 3... :psyboom:
[editline]02:09AM[/editline]
Well that doctor guy in Tekken 3... I'm not sure if it was the final boss, but you just couldn't kill him... :v:
I got lucky and killed him on my 5th try.
Ram on GoW 1 on insane difficulty, it was fucking impossible.
I've still found it weird that after taking around 100 tries to beat him on easy, I tried again on insane for shits and giggles, and ended up beating him first try. Either I was lucky, or I got really used to him.

I'd have said that the Weapons were pretty damn hard on FF7 if you weren't at level 99 with the best gear. I don't think I've beaten Ruby Weapon without cheating.

Was pretty damn difficult, especially when I was about ten years old.
Also this dude:

He was like a boss the size of the Empire State Building.

Unless you had Big Guard he was difficult, otherwise he was easy, albeit long and annoying. Mostly because of those 99% damage to all attacks, and Supernova, you could go and walk your dog in the meantime when he used Supernova (and he used it often).
Also the battle after that scared the shit out of me, since there was no saving between them, I was out of Elixirs and he was in his normal form and without shirt ("It's on now motherfucker!"-style).
All in all though, it was a pretty disappointing boss battle as long as difficulty goes (again, I had Big Guard, but I think the final boss should be difficult even with the best defence spell in the game).
not really an end boss, but try beating the star destroyer in Force Unleashed on PC WITH A MOUSE

:ohdear:
[sp]REACH OUT WITH THE FORCE AND GRAB THAT DESTROYER!

I did get a 360 controller; that destroyer being one big reason. Just need to download all 25 GB through Steam. -.-

The Marine Last Boss on hard in AvP3.
King K. Rool in DK64.
Ganondork and Ganon from OoT.
Prince of persia, the one where the place crumbled up and you had to run around the walls in anti-gravity kinda thing to get to the top.
I Always missed the last jump, never finished the game out of rage.
cyberdemon.
Malus from Shadow of the Colossus.
Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts 2.
Ruby and Emerald WEAPON from Final Fantasy 7.
Oh, and never forget some of those raging moments in the Castlevania series! Screw you mid-game bosses...screw you.

Early in the battle it's cake, but the real fun begins when you get its HP down to half.

you kidding me? on the hardest setting, all i had to do was set him on fire with the flame thrower. was hilarious seeing him invisible and on fire while yelling.
