Does the British tanks have full tech trees? Or just med/heavy?
Just medium and heavy. However, there are a few fan made trees, all of which share similar tank lines. In any case most of the SPG's, and all but the last few TD's are historical. Then, going further, there are second heavy medium and TD lines with tanks, that while prototypes, still were relatively well known, with plenty of information available.
Add to the tech tree the FV4202 as the tier 10 medium, and the FV215b as the tier 10 (they were confirmed by Serb)
the problem with the british tree is that most of them actually existed
so wargaming can't just look at a napkin scrawling found in a bombed out building in stalingrad and go "THIS TANK CAN BE PUT IN THE SAME TIER SPREAD AS THE TIGER"
which also means when they turn out to be utterly unhistorical, it's going to hurt even more
which also means when they turn out to be utterly unhistorical, it's going to hurt even more
Well, they're going to have to do something to put them up to par with whatever vehicles their facing.
Right now, we're assuming is insanely high RoF; but it honestly could be anything.
As long as I get my Chuchill with a spigot, I'm happy. If they don't add the spigot, I'll be pissed with all the fantasy-magic bullshit they have. :v:

Well, the British tanks will likely have high pentration with low alpha and a higher rate of fire. The British always had hot rounds so to speak, each round having a larger charge than other nation's shell of a similar calibre. Want an example? The 6 pounder was considered a better AT weapon than the 75mm. The 20 pouder, despite being 84mm outperformed all other similar calibers at the time by a large margin. But the high velocity also meant that their HE shells wouldn't be as effective. That was one reason why the British mixed normal 75mm shermans in with their fireflies, which were known to have a better HE shell.
On the topic of worrying whether the British will get cool stuff, I don't think you have to worry. The British have some of the most outrageous/brilliant/odd designs under the sun, trying out so many different things.
Like this thing for instance, which was intended to replace the ARVE

I'm more worried about if Wargaming will actually add it or not. The French line didn't have a lot of fun or wiggle room and the only new X to have more than one gun is the Patton III (with the other two being crap.)
I can see them skipping over the fantasy/fun guns for British due to time constraints/vodka/focusing too much on Russia. I just really freakin' want another KV-2 style tank. :v:
and it's still better than the tiger I chassis
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought that because I had a famed Tiger I, I would actually have good armor.
I'm so tired of Germany, the only advantage any of their tanks ever get is accuracy; which goes down the toilet on most maps.
I dream of the day when we get a Leopard I prototype as our T10 :v:

Camping iz ze only way JAH!
Where is everyone seeing the SU-122-44?
In the video it went SU-100M > Uralmash-1 > SU-122-54 > Object
It was mentioned in a previous development update; tier 8, and bumping the first two tanks down a tier. In the latest development update (today) they've changed their minds and don't mention it anymore.
Yeah they were probably scared the armor will be too weak.
Then they decided they will instead give them BATSHIT guns and speed and everything.
To be honest if the SU-122-44 does become a tier 8 premium I'd probably buy it, just because [del]I'm Wargaming's whore now[/del] I've wanted a Soviet TD crew trainer for ages.
This just in: IS-4's driver slit is over 250mm thick.
Not the hatch. Not the area around it. The actual fucking slit. I got a 128mm round right into it at point blank and it bounced.
And yet here I am, in my E-75, taking engine damage anytime someone looks at me funny.

Apparently the Austro-Hungarians managed to pull off a tank during WW1

The slit in the hatch is 175mm strong + angling, also really thin so you possibly hit the edge of the strongpoint.
The lowest penetration roll you can get with with KwK 44 L/55 is 184.5. Quite unlucky, but possible.

So that's an IS-4 in that gif? Why is it so squished in game then?
So that's an IS-4 in that gif? Why is it so squished in game then?
Nope, that's a King Tiger in that picture right there.

Oh, giving it a better look, I think it's IS-2 mod 1945.
I know at the very least the turret is something completely different from the game, and the hull is different too.

IS-4 ingame is more of this one

Yeah, I was a little confused there for a sec. The turrets look similar, just the one in the gif is a bit um.. vertically fatter?
Oh, giving it a better look, I think it's IS-2 mod 1945.
That's IS-2M, modification 1957.

Add this tank to the game and replace the regular scope with arty view :v:
So, here I am, with my horribly long loading time... Finally the map loads and I find myself (VK 3601) being blocked by these two platooned T-34's (Russian), one at front and one at back... obviously I wouldn't be able to go with other tanks, but I just go "wut, nubs", turn around and go into battle.
That's why I love german tanks, for their ability to rotate in spot.
