"What are you talking about, it's all working as intended. Fuck off."
Progress on the JagdPanther has come to a standstill, and at some points gone in reverse. I just can't seem to get any profit from games, so the 200,000 credit goal is still eons away.

The shell went through the mantlet and before it could continue further into the tank, the gun consumed it.
I don't think a shell can pass through gun and continue into the tank, so it just ate it.
Or, the shell, while drilling through the mantlet, hit side of the gun at like 10 degree angle, obviously bound to ding.
It's undeniably fault in the system, but it's by no chance random and unexplainable.

Try to never hit the mantlet and mainly not anywhere near the gun. There are portals to other dimensions, there.

it's unexplainably bad
hey you know that shell the size of a volvo that just hit your tank
yeah
what shell

As much as I hate artillery, last night I got hit directly by a T92 in my chaffee, and all it did was break my tracks. I'm sorry, but when something with probably about a quarter of the moment of my tank hits me, I don't expect that I'll be getting off with merely a damaged track.
The T92 was pretty mad though.

If you ask me the whole HP system is irredeemable. "Oh, a shell hits the very corner of back of your tank, flying through empty space, leaving it again? Well too bad you fucking explode."
And "Oh, a 50kg hunk of metal hit your frontal plate, literally half a meter from driver's face, at speed of sound? it's okay there was 15cm plate, the driver hears a faint ding and nothing happens".
The HP and "damage done anywhere is equally lethal except for special cases which can decrease your performance by a fraction" is broken by principle. I don't think you should have to specifically kill all crew or ammorack the tank to "kill it", but the tanks should have core hurt groups like "actual vital inside" which would reach to corners and such.
At the same time, overkill impacts should be devastating regardless the fact the plate should have mathematically not let the shell through (which it wouldn't irl but the whole vehicle would get SHREDDED by the shockwave going through the metal) and shell shouldn't JUST DISAPPEAR because it hit *something*.
By the way, this particular case of JPE-100 vs Tetrarch flop is partially happening because of the people who bitched about AP shots which killed two crewmen and set engine on fire, flying through the whole tank.
They decreased the ability of shell penetrating through "multiple things", which is why the gun just consumes it.
It should just fuck the gun it hits up and happily continue through Tetrarchs turret, dealing all the damage it should deal, exiting it on the back side.

His own fault for shooting with AP. If a T92 HE shell lands anywhere near your Chaffee you are toast.

HP is just total shit.
shooting a commander cupola until the tank explodes is the dumbest, shittest thing imaginable.
a fucking bit of metal on the top of the tank? fuck off.
some weakpoints I fucking hate as well.
with the E-75, the whole point of the tank should be that if the player is smart, you can't penetrate him frontally, because he's a heavy tank and that's what they should be good at.
instead we get lower hulls made out of marshmallows
who cares if it's historically accurate that it has X armour value on the lower hull, when the battles fought in WoT are utterly unhistorical.
if tanks were designed with WoT in mind, no cupolas, no observation ports, no mgs, make as much of your tank tracks as possible and have it made in russia, so it's then squashed down to be the size of a pancake for no reason
in WoT tank heaven
the accuracy of your gun is german, the damage of your gun is russian, the turret of your tank is american, your loading system is french, your armour is forged out of the same black hole adamantium that the KV-1's frontal plate is made out of and your tank heralds from russia
in tank hell
the accuracy of your gun is russian, the damage of your gun is german, the turret is french, your loading system is two drunken WG employees on patch day, your armour is made out of burning tiger Is, the tank was designed by ancestor killers, and balance is maintained by serb

I think that weakpoints are a good thing because it rises skill ceiling and helps the "facing enemies you can't ever hurt", but I think that "non crucial" hits should deal halved damage or something.

42% win ratio after 2,7k battles. Glorious
That IS7 deserves a runner up award.

Apparently not, because it WAS HE. (I wasn't joking when I said he was pretty mad)
It beats my record for absorbing a KV-2 152mm HE shell with the rear armor of my chaffee without so much as a dent.

Beautiful day 1 beta tech tree.
Good old days of only t5 arty.
Was even back then Panther capable of doing anything to a Maus?
I guess it could HE it to death since SU-26s tended to do that.
It was a simpler time.
The slit in the hatch is 175mm strong + angling, also really thin so you possibly hit the edge of the strongpoint.
The lowest penetration roll you can get with with KwK 44 L/55 is 184.5. Quite unlucky, but possible.
I was less than a meter from him, both of us facing hull flat on. I really want to know why Wargaming had to take their precious baby IS-4 and turn the only logical frontal weak spot into the strongest part of the tank.
I know the IS-4 has cupolas, but they're thin as fuck next to my 1-2ft tall German ones. :v:

It's still the frontally weakest tier 10.
To be honest if you just shot the bottom part of front upper glacis plate, you would have penetrated almost certainly.

No, it's a Heckler and Colt AR-47

I wish I knew how people were making these models. I got a few weeks off, so I've been wanting to get back to the whole Russians = Orks deal, but I haven't found any tutorials. It'd be boring as heck if it was just a bunch of hue-edits. :v:

I still have an easier time penetrating other Xs with my 128. Most of them have a big weak spot somewhere that's easy to nail, but the IS-4's lower glacis is so low to the ground that I think it's actually keeping my sky-scraper E-75 from having a chance of penning it.
Awesomecaek are you using Linux on a laptop or desktop?

Yep that's E-79 from panzer front that devs came up with.
