I have the Stug, KV-1S, KT, and AMX 12t researched, which is funnest?

I've heard good things about the KT, but 80mm side armor sides iffy.

The VK4502A has 80mm too, and it's even thinner due to no skirts/tracks blocking most of it.

Trust me, KT is fucking amazing played right and upgraded. I can't speak for the new AMX 12t - and the Stug is fun, but fragile. (Stug also turns fucking hella fast. :v:)

StuG is very fun if you get to shoot enemies from distance. 12t is fast, but it isn't as variable as ELC. Keep away from KV-1S. No idea about KT, though. Heard that it's fun when elited.

KV-1S is actually one of the better T6s now that the KV-3 was moved to T7.

KV-1S has mobility and firepower and just enough armor to bounce everything.

Honestly it needs to lose the 122 as it's essentially a tier 6 IS, and I hope they remove it when they start expanding the rebalancing so people actually use the 85 because the KV-85 was actually a thing.

KV-1S is probably the strongest tank in the game for it's tier. It gets the amazing D-2-5T, capable of doing so much damage. It's turret is really bouncy, thanks to 100mm and good slopes.

It doesn't have the rate of fire and has much less armor, even if it is enough to be trolly. I love the thing, but it doesn't need a nerf. It's wildly underrated actually.

Although as far as burst-troll goes, it may very well need to lose the 122. I don't think WG will consider it, but 400 damage is enough to fuck up [I]anyone's[/I] day at that tier. 85 is just as powerful but maybe less ridiculous.

I have to agree if the Panzer IV is losing it's L/70, the T-28 lost it's 85mm, the T-34 lost it's 100mm, and the SU-85 lost it's 107mm then it's fair for the KV-1S to lose it's 122mm to make it more balanced.

That tree is probably outdated, but the tree structure is correct i think.

KT is godsend once you get upper turret and upgraded engines, even with the 88mm gun only.

The side armor might sound thin but it's still one of the better ones. You use it in angling a lot.

I couldn't have been happier to get away from my StuG and I didn't really enjoy the 12t. The KT is a great deal of fun though. If you decide to get the KT, I would recommend doing this:

Buy/equip last engine and radio from Tiger -> tracks -> Henschel turm -> 105mm guns

The second turret itself makes the KT an exponentially better tank. I personally hated the first 105 and kept using the 88cm through it because of the shell cost and lack of improved pen.
