Sick nasties credit to Cybrid.
Those sick nasties were so wicked, sick, and nasty that my driver died from the impact.
I hate how you lose tracks when traveling at 3mph down a 70 degree incline but don't when you come down from a 2 foot jump at 80 kmh

you are kind of crushing the front of your tank with the rest of it's weight in the first scenario and you're equally distributing weight in the second
also ramming ELC AMXes with a Panther II at above top speed
the AMX litterally goes airborne

I mean, just travelling down an incline at a very slow speed breaks the tracks, not the landing. That's bullshit.
ie the Type 59 in the above video gets detracked at the top of the hill @ 0:30 cause the tracks hit an incline

That's the biggest centipede/caterpillar/some kind of long shit I've been in so far. With the help of everyone we managed to push that T-15 up.
And then I was banned from the test server for teamkilling. Sorry if I was trying to defend myself from the mongoloid Russians, WG. Fun's over till 8PM tonight :~(
we need test servers for each NA, EU and SEA. So other people from different areas don't get tk'd by russians aka Retard Union

Is it only EU and US members that can get banned for teamkilling or something? I get teamkilled by russian faggots every single match, there should be no russians left on the servers.
[editline]22nd August 2012[/editline]
They should remove those EU, US and RU suffixes anyway.
[editline]22nd August 2012[/editline]
Hmm, can't connect at all again, username contains invalid symbols apparently.
They should remove those EU, US and RU suffixes anyway.
I assume that's to ensure unique usernames when the data from different servers is combined.

Ah yeah.
Game feels completely changed

Your tank is 2.5 m tall, that drop was about 7 m

Fall damage really needs to be toned down though.
Fall damage really needs to be toned down though.
It's mostly fine, main problem is the tracks breaking at lower speeds.
actually no i agree it is too high
the test client is hogging up a lot of my bandwidth for whatever reason
the test client is hogging up a lot of my bandwidth for whatever reason
Who would have guessed.
Instead of saving an XY position, a single value of heading, and velocity, the data contains info about rotation in 3 axis', velocity of each, and possibly more precise position too.
For each one tank you see.
It's bound to happen.
[editline]22nd August 2012[/editline]
The core data volume is, even just mathematically, bound to be 2-3 times bigger.
man I didn't know how LONG the long 90 on the french tree was

9 kills with the JagdPantherII feels so damn good. My ER is 2400 with it :v: 86% win ratio.
Only 8 battles though but I hope this trend will continue.
I have secret decal beta test client

Encounter on Himmelsdorf, last one left alive because I didn't follow the entire team up the hill and went to cap instead. Called a dumb ass and a wallet warrior by a Tiger 2 that drove into the field into the middle and wondered why he died. I don't even know what to say.
Fall damage really needs to be toned down though.
I think it's perfectly fine. Considering WW2 tanks tended to have their engines fuck up just from revving too fast, I don't think it's right to have tanks being retarded as shit and doing crazy jumps and shit. Especially considering a lot of these tanks weigh well over 30 tons. Your normal car weighs something like 2 tons and if you drop it from 7 meters its bound to heavily damage your suspension, you can't expect something like a 45 ton tank moving at 40km/h to survive crazy 5+ meter falls undamaged. These aren't exactly rally cars you're playing with here
In one encounter a Churchill tank got the better of a German heavy tank, Tiger I, when a shot lodged between the Tiger's turret and turret ring. The crew abandoned the Tiger, which was subsequently captured by the British. As the first Tiger captured by the Western Allies it was particularly useful, and is now on display at Bovington Tank Museum in the United Kingdom.
GG Germany.
I am all for tracks destruction but I would tone down the rest of it still.
I managed to break my tracks by just driving normally.
They didn't like that small bump on the road after I took a dive from a cliff.
I think this is a case where you have to put gameplay (little damage) ahead of realism (widespread module and crew damage).
