There's nothing I love more than arguing with arty after they have been destroyed by a scout slipping past the defenses. (arty being too dumb to look at the map and dispose the scout with direct fire)
After the arty has called the whole team noob I usually respond: "Nobody cares about your survival."
And then they get shitmad at me and call me a noob and dumb and idiot. Then after the battle I look at their stats and laugh out loud because 99% of them have less than 45% win percentage and less than 0.5 kills per battle.
Nobody likes a whiny player, and a whiny arty player is triple as bad. Most discussion about the role of arty and possible improvements are entirely impossible because arty players have created a reputation of being entitled whiners which in turn makes everyone hostile right out of the bat.
Not that even an intelligent discussion would bring any changes to arty...

I reserve the right to whine when friendly arty teamkills me while I am circlestrafing an enemy heavy.
Oh shit, awesome. I am still working towards the KV-1S, but I was playing my other tanks more, gonna try and get there this weekend.
KV-1S is awesome. Just get through the beginning with the KVs 122 and that new 122 will make your day

that isu is so bad lmao

surprisingly he has an okay winrate and 1192 efficiency
Would have probably died instantly if it weren't for the fact that he was equipped with the groundseeker 122mm

He did exactly what should be done. Trying to outturn a circling light on open ground is competely pointless. Running for houses or map edge to remove the circling advantage is the best thing in that situation. He almost got a couple of shots off on the T-50 thanks to it.
I'd say he has a bit more brains than the average pubbie.

better than average? sure
but that average is pretty low.
there's a lot of things he could've done better. Now that I think about it, yeah, he's not bad, it just could've gone a lot better.
Just noticed the World of Warplanes closed-beta has started, signed up straight away, I hope its as good as what the World of Tanks beta was like (and I hope I get in) I know this post wasn't exactly WoT related but PLAAAAAAANES!
Why should you be given a t6 prem for free???
You say this, and yet a shit load of US players got free T34 prems. German players are, yet again, dicked by a change to the tech tree and getting nothing in return.

Nope.
T34 was getting removed from the standard tree staying pretty much the same exact same it was.
PzIV splits into two vehicles. Players will keep their PzIV. Just the modules get changed.
I am fucking glad that people don't get free PzIVSchmalls DESPITE HAVING ONE MYSELF - because the thing is fucking ugly piece of shit and the less I see of it the better.
I though I'd post the thing that helped me with my display driver thingy here in case anyone else has the problem.
This solved my problem completely: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/144730-ati-dispay-drivers-crashes-solution/

Think its also to reward people who went through the most horrible grind ever and a tank that remained unchanged despite having a worse W/L with other tier 9's. 105mm on a T34...its truly bad...one time I even saw a T34 with a 90mm...
I'm 100% sure it's because they didn't want to give everyone who had played the game for 3 days a free premium tank to never worry about credits ever again.

Question, what were those things for?
Also, i decided to try to be a sneaky bastard in my KT by taking cammo on all dudes as my secondary skill, was it a good idea?
Question, what were those things for?
Don't quote me on it, but I believed they helped defeat rockets and anti-tank grenades in the same way a full plate would. Unlike a plate, they wouldn't offer any additional protection against conventional tank rounds, though.
Also, i decided to try to be a sneaky bastard in my KT by taking cammo on all dudes as my secondary skill, was it a good idea?
Not really, no offense. The KT isn't terrible with camouflage, but those skills would be better put on perks or repair. Then again, it also depends on how you play. I play heavy tanks very aggressively, so camouflage something I don't worry too much about.
And from the E-75 to E-100; that camo rating is going to plummet.
Question, what were those things for?
Its "spaced" armour; rockets like the Bazooka and HEAT charges rely on making a focused jet of molten metal to burn a hole through the armour on the tank, and so, if one of these hypothetically hits the cage and blows up, then the jet won't have enough force or heat to actually penetrate the main armour becuase of the open air gap and the cage / extra plates.

Cheese graters.
The tank was part of the field kitchen equipment.

Wouldn't that fit more on French tanks?
Along with the cooling compartment in the back for the wine.

What other skills would you recommend then?
I already have sixth sense, dead eye, clutch braking, situational awareness and safety stowage.

Repair, repair and repair.
Pretty much all the Driver specific skills are very good on any tank. On the rest of crew, the importance is lower and you might want repair
Might want to be careful with clutchbraking on some tanks...It made my Patton M46 way too sensitive...let alone my Easy 8.

Its alright just takes some use getting use too it.
Now i know why there are so many bad players as he said in ASAP3-1 World of tanks has 3 year olds playing.

doesn't take einstein to play arty
in fact I reckon that some inanimate objects could do a fine job of playing arty
The arty rains downs shells at your tanks.
Lorraine pens T28 frontal. Wat
