T95 officially best invader of all invaders. [sub][sub][sub][sub][sub][sub]Too bad it rarely ever makes it to the front lines to do anything of value, most matches, though.[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub] And one of these was on Malikanova. On Assault.
So, how fun is it? Though I'm currently grinding a T25, I hope I'll get to the T95 somewhere in the future.
So, how fun is it? Though I'm currently grinding a T25, I hope I'll get to the T95 somewhere in the future.
Let me say this: T95 is horrible stock. All tanks are. You have amazing armor, but a dinky-shit gun. Once you get the 120mm back, it's far more fun. Now, in a straight up steam roll - you won't get much done in T95. Why? You're too slow to get to any front line. Your team will bowl over them before you're even half way there. That said, the T95 is the perfect anti-team. It's the perfect attention-getter. It's a great alley/point locker and it's practically immune to VI (sans 203mm) artillery fire as long they only hit you frontally. (Your ass is still weak as hell to splash.) Bigger artillery will still fuck you, but if the splash lands in front and not to the side, expect it to only tickle. What makes the T95 amazing fun is that at a distance, it's armor is impervious save lucky shots. (Frontally.) At a closer distance, it'll take 225mm pen to hit the cupolas or lower glacis effectively, and only smart players will know to do this. Couple that with super-rapid 120mm or dick-giving 155mm action and you got a barrel of laughs. I really fucking enjoy my T95, but I have a low XP per match due to how slow it is. Yet, in a IX match, this is a tank that can literally drive straight at the enemy on a normal match of Malikanova, receive 20-50 hits, and keep rolling. In fact, this is a common tactic for me since I use it to spot the enemy. Just prepare yourself for the T28. It's a huge switch up from the T25 AT (which I adored) into a slug with (some) armor. I really hated it at first and only grew to kinda like it. I have about a 48% with it, because it's terribly slow, got huge/weak sides and zero skirts/spaced armor against artillery. Once you get the 120mm, the T28 gets a lot more brutal, but it's still pretty mediocre in my book. It makes up for it with a really fast 120mm fire rate. You just can't play the fucking thing aggressively at all - unlike both the T25 AT and T95; which is probably why I hate it. All this said - the new X TDs/Mediums make the T95 less fun to play. Both have a high chance of penning you frontally and they're all a helluva lot faster. In lower matches, though, T95 is still a blast to play. It's heavy armor usually makes all but the cocky and stupid go "Nope" and turn around. That feeling alone is worth the grind and 5M silver to deck it out. :v:
I'm starting to have fun with the Jagdpanther now, even in stock it can manage some nice damage in lower-tier matches. Usually it bounces half the shots it fires with the stock gun, but put into the right matches and it can get a few good kills. Once I've managed to get some good equipment for it I'll start working towards the T95 on the side via the M4A3E8-Slugger jump, since I've only got one non-SPG/TD tank, and that's the PzIII, so the light-medium gameplay should make a nice change. A question, though - should I use the M4 or the M7 to reach the M4A3E8? I'm considering the M4 as I want to actually have some nice firepower as opposed to just a scout.
should I use the M4 or the M7 to reach the M4A3E8? I'm considering the M4 as I want to actually have some nice firepower as opposed to just a scout.
I want to recommend the M4, due to the whole E2 - M6 jump capability and unlocking more guns/engines for the E8 before you get it. The M4 is an all-round versatile medium with little armor. You can go 76mm or play with the 105mm for fun (which rapes M3 Lees.) The M7 plays like a speedy, armorless Ram-II. That is to say - it's a jumpy little medium with a rapid fire British gun that seems like great fun. I never have gotten around to trying one though.
I wonder if Crusader in the coming British tree can be played as a 'non-stop rail shooter' It's fun doing that on the Churchill but it's too slow to be effective.
shot a t50 in the rear with the kv2s 152 150 damage

he was tracked right infront of me at basically point blank, there was a shell hole where i hit him i bumped into him a few times though and he exploded
the M7 is hell on treads, fun as hell. i've had great moments in it, having gotten it after my easy eight through the M4. its a fun tank [editline]25th August 2012[/editline]
he was tracked right infront of me at basically point blank, there was a shell hole where i hit him i bumped into him a few times though and he exploded
speaking of which, i got top gun in my t25/2. including two ram kills. one was a t29.
You just can't play the fucking thing aggressively at all - unlike both the T25 AT and T95; which is probably why I hate it.
Wait, T25 is supposed to be played aggressively? That's something I've never heard of. Sure, it's kind of fast, but it's too fragile and doesn't stand a chance against tier 7+ heavies on close range. Or maybe my concept of aggressive play is wrong?
I got rammed to death by an M103 after he started at about 1 metre away officially most depressing ram death 2012 [editline]25th August 2012[/editline] [t]http://puu.sh/YCJS[/t] In other news, in the distant future of 2235 after I get the xp and credits for a gun, which one should I research and buy?

Best type 62 match so far.
Victory! Battle: Sand River Saturday, August 25, 2012 12:25:25 PM Vehicle: Type 62 Experience received: 2,494 Credits received: 102,130 Battle Achievements: Sniper, Master Gunner, Sharpshooter, Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker"
IS that on the E-50? If you choose the long 88 over the 10.5cm then you got some serve brain damage :v:

That being said, the 105 really puts the hurt on enemies but each shot is going to cost you 1k so you should be confident in your abilities of actually hitting the enemy. If you have premium you don't really need to be as careful as you make quite a bit of money.
I did 400 damage to a Bat Chat once in my E-50 with ramming.
720 to a batchat with the e50 get on my level

Also you get much more dmg for just a little less penetration.
I would still use the 10.5 on the jgpanther at least thats how i grinded. Considering my only other tank is the Panzer III I need to keep a steady income with this.
Assault is a fucking horrible mapmode. I get on sand river in my AMX and I'm instantly useless, because we're on attack. The only way to attack is across open fields in lacking cover. Couple that with the enemy having two tier 4 rapid-fire arty and it's just completely painful. I watched a jagdpanther next to me get torn up because he was being raped by the arty and spotted by an invisible ELC that we had no way to flush out. Our team basically disintegrated because the only places we can attack from are horrible killing fields. That train map too, jesus christ who thought that was a good idea!?

AMX AC Mle.1946 [editline]25th August 2012[/editline] happy? The point is every one of those tanks instantly becomes invalidated. The only tanks that get a reasonable chance during an assault is artillery [editline]25th August 2012[/editline] That was the first match I got into today. The next match ended -2 < 11 jesus christ
Is the physic test still going? It had been three days and I've only got to 50%
Invisible T-50-2 pelting my brand new KV-1S with 20 57mm shells in a span of 30 seconds as soon as I leave the spawn is a REALLY good way to get me to stop playing.

Your point may be that, but my point is that you still need to better clarify what tank you're in. You may think the AMX AC Mle.1946 is invalidated sure, but someone could think you were in the AMX 50 120 or something which is not really invalidated.
