'T29' purchased successfully. You have spent credits: 1*450*300.
Finally! Now back to grinding money with M6 and M18 because I don't have money for ammo, crew training, modules and complex equipment. Speaking of M6:
Victory! Battle: Siegfried Line 26-08-2012 17:20:35 Vehicle: M6 Experience received: 1,103 Credits received: 38,356 Battle Achievements: Steel Wall, Confederate, Sniper, Sharpshooter
I never had 4 achievements simultaneously before.

Why is the SU-122-44 a Tier 8 premTD instead of a Tier 7 premTD? The 122 is a fairly competent Tier 7 gun, so is it supposed to make up for that by super mobility or thick frontal armor or something?

Maybe it'll have the BL-9 or something?

The KV-5 has the 107mm and it's also a tier 8. Why should a premium TD get the same-ish gun and better armor than its tier 7 counterpart? Better make it tier 8.
which just means if you want to properly rape face with the 122 at tier 7 get the SU-152 WITH ITS PROPER GUN
which just means if you want to properly rape face with the 122 at tier 7 get the SU-152 WITH ITS PROPER GUN
Why do you think it's called the SU-152?
which just means if you want to properly rape face with the 122 at tier 7 get the SU-152 WITH ITS PROPER GUN
If you have problems using the 152 effectively then I feel sorry for you.
I haven't used the T-28 in a while but I know the 85mm was removed and even with it I remember it being a slight pain to grind. The KV-1 and the other tanks in the line is worth it though.
THEY REMOVED THE 85? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE I LOVED THE T-28
If you have problems using the 152 effectively then I feel sorry for you.
The 152 is fine The second 122 is better
The 152 is fine The second 122 is better
The second 122 is rapegun. Even in tier 8 matches.
Why not? The IS-6 has the 122 and it's a tier 8. The KV-5 has the 107mm and it's also a tier 8. The KV-5 and IS-6 both have the advantage over standard tanks of having ridiculously armored turrets and good protection on the hull all-around, trading firepower for armor. The SU-122-44 seems all around mediocre because that few kmh of speed you gain with the medium tank chassis seems to be offset by the fact that the tank has to stop and turn to engage enemies, then wait for the reticule to center before firing. I dunno, but personally I'd prefer actually having the penetration and accuracy to snipe people at range using a TD like the JagdPanther II instead of having inadequate penetration and godawful accuracy. Even the JagdTiger mit 88mm has a distinct advantage in terms of sheer armor (sans weakspots) over similar tier tanks in exchange for firepower, as is the Type 59 in a sense.
IS-6 has armor? Oh please
Considering everything is heavily sloped and it has 100mm side armor / 150mm sloped turret armor, it can be fairly dingy in close quarters (which it handles well considering it has a turret and decent agility)
Considering everything is heavily sloped and it has 100mm side armor / 150mm sloped turret armor, it can be fairly dingy in close quarters (which it handles well considering it has a turret and decent agility)
It still sucks since historically it had 120mm front while in wot it has 100mm

there's literally no way this one T59 didn't spot me as I was capping but I just barely made the 80 points yay
Yo the IS-6 is a pile of dog shit
Not saying the IS-6 isn't a pile of dogshit, I'm saying that it handles itself at close range okay and better than something without a turret and still stuck with the 122 The SU-122-44 would fit in with the rest of the Tier 7 TDs and be a sort of faster JagdPanther with a shitty gun to be competitive or it could languish in tier 8 and get horrendously fucked over by anything that has more than a Tier 7 gun and 175mm effective armor
SerB on average player win rates vs. # of battles fought
From the RU Q&A thread. Post #760. Q: A question on stats - is it true that the more you play, the more your win % approaches 50? Mine is 54, 53 excluding the "sandbox" tiers, in 7000 battles. My friends have about 14000 and 50%, but they aren't playing any worse than I am. Certainly while platooned they seem to be thinking the right things, know the maps, the weak spots. How does that happen? A: AFAIK, win rates rise to 52-53 by 10k battles at the expense of rookies with 46-47. There are about two rookies per veteran, so that's how you end up with a 49 average. Q: So those same newbies, if they end up on the green team, drop the win rate from 54% to 50% by 15k battles? My favorite tank, Somua, can't always win battles on its own when it hits a Tier 5 match. When I'd bought it, I got very lucky with matchmaking - all Tier 3-4 battles - and my stats were around 80%-85%, but by 150 matches it's starting to fall to 70%, so eventually all the KVs I run into will balance things out around the average and it's just a matter of time? A: Bloody Mary, think about the word "average". Some players start with 54 and eventually get to 70, as one example. Some, yes, drop from 54 to 52, or possibly even to 48 if they become raging alcoholics in the interim. Some rise from 32 to 45. There are about 2 million actives just on the RU server. And if you take the whole set of registered users, you get a much larger dataset still. And each one of them has their own statline with its own rises and falls. But if you take the average of their win rates after 3k matches and then after 10k matches, you get average win rates of 47 and 53. Which tells you absolutely nothing about a specific individual. It simply gives you the basis to conjecture that an average player improves his or her statline with experience. A blindingly unexpected conclusion, don't you agree?
I dunno, i've stayed at a 56% wr for well over a year
Maybe it'll have the BL-9 or something?
WG like to give premium tanks their historical gun. Since this is an imaginary(?) tank, who knows what gun that is? But I predict it'll be the same old D-25 mod. 1944, and they'll buff the matchmaking instead (tier 8 matches only).
I dunno, i've stayed at a 56$ wr for well over a year
He's talking about the average pubbie, not elite tankspergs like most on FP are [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] I started off at around 50% and have gone to my current 58% overall win ratio over the years so yeah it fits for me.
I have a 64% overall win ratio and my leettraktor has 100% win ratio, lmao
I have a 64% overall win ratio and my leettraktor has 100% win ratio, lmao
well you only have 167 battles so :v: it'll even out once you reach ~1000
if I ever reach 1000 heh
my w/r has slowly been rising towards 50% it was 47 like last month now it's up to around 48 or 49
312 battles in my t-50, 55% win rate :v
