The Yugoslav Army had only one ISU-152 in its inventory which was abandoned by units of the SovietRed Army 2nd Ukrainian Front in 1944 when it became stuck in the mud some 2 km from Pančevo bridge. In 1946 members of the Yugoslav 2nd Tank Brigade's 1st battalion, led by technical officer Stojimir Ilijevic - Guerrilla, recovered the self-propelled gun after five days of work. As a unique vehicle it was used by the Tank School at Bela Crkva (which relocated to Banja Luka in 1948). In 1954 the standard engine was replaced by an engine from a Soviet T-34 tank. After it was withdrawn from service, the only remaining Yugoslav ISU-152 was used for target practice at the Manjača fire range.
Why.
Because it was an old outdated vehicle and yugoslavia's military doesn't have the budget for shooting newer, plentiful vehicles
So I did some calculations. I found that the 152mm APHE shell fired from an ML-20 has the same kinetic energy when it hits as a 5 tonne truck hitting the target at 131mph. Wow.
Nope.
T34 was getting removed from the standard tree staying pretty much the same exact same it was.
PzIV splits into two vehicles. Players will keep their PzIV. Just the modules get changed.
I am fucking glad that people don't get free PzIVSchmalls DESPITE HAVING ONE MYSELF - because the thing is fucking ugly piece of shit and the less I see of it the better.
Russians got their KV-1 tanks turned into two tanks, they got the tier 7 kv-3 AND the tier 6 tank that replaced it, got a free t10 IS-4 if they had the t9 version, got the replacement t9 tank on the IS-7 tree, etc. All of these came with extra slots
US players who had T30 got T110 and the T30 TD. T34 got M103 AND a premium T34. Again extra slots.
German players who had the KT when it switched to the E-100 tree got... nothing. Now, with the PzIV they are again getting nothing, even though Russians got a KV-1 AND a KV-2 out of the deal. KV-1 was also "just" a module change if you want to break the argument down that way. So yes, german players are being shafted again.
And you're arguing this is ok because the Schmalturm is ugly? lolwut

Would send a little renault UE flying.
edit: wait, no PzIV Schmalls?
What is being done to rebalance that, exactly? I saw some nice little armored skirts on them in phys preview but thought it was cosmetic.
Story:
A PzIII/IV was chasing after a T-50 on El Halluf, the T-50 slows down and goes down a hill the PzIII/IV doesn't slow down at all catches mad air, hits the ground and DIES.
Made my day.
Why.
It's a loss but it's not that bad. There are still plenty of ISUs in Russia (2 of them at Stalin Line, one of them at Kubinka along with a unique ISU-130). There's even some in running condition.
If it was a SU-152 I'd cry though. Even more if it could move on its own.

Note: getting on at this time of night, pretty much if you speak in global or anything, you are guaranteed to get something along the lines of "fucking american" from almost any russian that doesn't speak english.
Hop on to get daily doubles.
Great 2000-4000XP matches.
Figure "Hey, the VK4502B is only 30k away, I'll just grind it...."
[sub]"I'll just grind it."[/sub]
[sub][sub]"just grind it."[/sub][/sub]

Consistent 50-300XP loses. Fucking sentient MM.

While I completely agree that German players have gotten the raw end of tech tree revisions, I think this specific one was because they didn't want to give everyone who invested a few hours into the game a free T6 premium to never worry about credits again.
Reasons why I love having a 130 tonne tank:
1. It takes 2 is-7s and a batchat to push me at 4km/h.
2. If I'm sideways, nobody can push me unless they have like 4 or 5 tanks all pushing eachother.
3. RAMMING FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE DOWN HILLS.
So with the new physics is it possible for a T95 to go faster than 13KM/h or will it just slide down a mountain at that speed?

Yep, tanks can boost each other now, Crash took his T-50-2 and boosted my M5 up to like 65ish when its top speed is 57.

unlimited horsepower
We could have a team of ELC's pushing a T29 to make it go 60
t50-2 could be modules
additional horse powers
Wait, T25 is supposed to be played aggressively? That's something I've never heard of. Sure, it's kind of fast, but it's too fragile and doesn't stand a chance against tier 7+ heavies on close range.
Or maybe my concept of aggressive play is wrong?
I dont play it that aggressively but this kinda style actually works..

Dual 120mm's. Ohgodyes
Met possibly the worst player I have seen for a while.
http://worldoftanks.eu/community/accounts/503209566-Bigtron/
Avg xp 221, 4,7k matches and 1531 destroyed tanks and he has almost 1,1 mil less XP than I have even tho he has played 1420 more matches than I have.
This is my T29 crew, I chose those men carefully.

I'm especially counting on Pvt. Dumbleton, he sounds like a person with an extraordinary intellect.
Has anyone been able to flip a tank yet?

you can't flip a tank, it simply stops you from rotating and going upside down
Upgrade your crew to 75%, it's worth it, or maybe not

Yeah, that's the picture which inspired me.
[editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
I also noticed you can name a crewman "Dixon Dix".

no one tank should have all that pownall
Is it possible to at least tip a tank a bit by just running in to them, as long as you are powerful enough? That would be a fun thing to do, just ram into an enemy tank and tip them enough so that their gun cant depress enough to shoot you. For most tanks you wouldn't even need to tip them that much

Jesus fuck persecution complex much?
What "Russians, US players"
Excuse me, I have tanks in literally every tree
nobody is forcing you play your tree based on your race, nationality, nor intelligence coefficient
handing out a million premium tier 6 tanks would be stupid because you literally need to play for 2 days to get PzIV, and _everyone_ would get one, having the info in advance.
It would be pointless. They could simply bump PzIV a tier higher and remove one of the VK3001s or something. EVERYONE would be playing it.
It's stupid stupid dumb dumb

During the beta in my T-54 I smashed into the front of an enemy M26 so hard that I wedged myself underneath it and was able to shoot it twice like that and w0w00t behind me finished it off, while it shat itself and wondered why it was now staring at the sky. So I suppose it's possible, but only in extreme instances. Assuming you didn't play the beta, collisions aren't very robust past pushing the other tank around, unless you're near a cliff or similarly cool drop. They'll bounce you around, rotate you, fuck up your aim, and generally be pretty cool, but the whole part where tanks are bottom heavy and the forced "no flipping over other tanks" thing WG has going on right now make it kind of limited.
[editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
Tldr: It's no Men of War. You can't trap a PzIII with your IS-4 and slowly flip it over, or worse yet smash into a tank with a Maus and have it fly away from you doing spins.
No, it's impossible to flip a tank atm.
They just turn back before reaching right angle. It's hardcoded.
Nothing like ramming another tank head on and both of your fronts shooting up into the air

I wonder if sloped armors give a higher chance of wedging into the underside of tanks in collision,
that'd offer an interesting tactic
