I wonder if sloped armors give a higher chance of wedging into the underside of tanks in collision, that'd offer an interesting tactic
if not just the low height of Tanks like the T-54 and T-62A make them more likely to roll right under larger tanks.
Why.
The folks at Bovington did something even worse, the army found a schmalturm turret in storage and didn't know what it was or that it was from WW2 so they decided to use it for target practice instead of the usual centurions. It was blown to pieces over the months it was out there before one gunner who was a WW2 tank enthusiast realised what it was so the army gave it to The Museum. This is all that remains. It would be a glorious sight...
Once again, The Western Allies destroy all the cool experimental German stuff, This is why we don't have the GW Tiger Prototype or the E-100 hull. The Russians At least had Enough sense to Put the Maus in a museum.
Russians also used captured PzIIIs and PzIVs at target practice.
Well considering they were some of the most numerous Vehicles in the German army that's understandable. "these are most likely the things you are going to be shooting at you 80% of the time, now learn how to shoot one back."
"these are most likely the things you are going to be shooting at you 80% of the time, now learn how to shoot one back."
I mean post war. They also used captured tanks like Tiger, KT and Panther to test their armor during war.
I mean post war.
Still also understandable. Stalingrad alone was Full of derelict PZIIIs by the end of the war, Place was a fucking graveyard. [editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
They also used captured tanks like Tiger, KT and Panther to test their armor during war.
Well how the hell else are you going to test them?

I just rebought the Panther II again and now remember why I sold it, it relies on the team you get and generally they are pretty bad.
Isn't the real 8.0 test supposed to be out this week?
are they going to keep the 8.0 hit decal? it looked terrible

Wow, just tried the Lowe again after the income buff, didn't do too well and only got 3 kills from 50-75%. Defeat Battle: Ensk 27 August 2012 15:33:43 Vehicle: Löwe Experience received: 1,146 Credits received: 110,716 Battle Achievements: Sniper Wonder what a good match would be like.
The Russians At least had Enough sense to Put the Maus in a museum.
Yeah but it still has holes in it's hull big enough that you can fit your fists into.

If you do, be prepared for a tank that's slower than the Maus with a huge, glaring lower glacis.

Guys, i have a question: How come the E-50 weights more than an IS(i think it was IS or some other heavy) and is classified as a medium? How exactly do they make those classifications?

oh hey I found the replay of the only time I would call myself carrying the team with an arty http://db.tt/7zwA5glC
After grinding for it all morning I have purchased the SU-85 and transferred my SU-85B crew over to it. My first battle with it went really well:
Victory! Battle: Himmelsdorf Monday, August 27, 2012 11:38:16 AM Vehicle: SU-85 Experience received: 558 (x2 for the first victory each day) Credits received: 8,767
Two kills: A Pz38T and a T-50 that was trying to snipe from the hill. So any tips?

It still fucking horrifies me that they built one of these. The thought of what the Germans might have built, if Hitler wasn't such a tactical cockgoblin, is quite interesting.
Guys, i have a question: How come the E-50 weights more than an IS(i think it was IS or some other heavy) and is classified as a medium? How exactly do they make those classifications?
It's a mix of national classifications and in-game fantasy. We don't call the X mediums MBTs or the Pershing a Medium/Heavy tank. The E-50 is basically a super-refined, up armored Panther II mish-mashed with some sex, gun and engine. It's a medium more because of how it acts in game rather than it's actual real life purpose.
Guess what I just got [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/c50gc.jpg[/img_thumb] Also a 2000 gold promo code but it's valid for RU accounts only.

I would pay 599 US dollars for a tank that fires other tanks.
