T-50-2 is getting nerfed in 0.8.0 Translates: Due to new physics, T-50-2 turn speed is decreased by 20%. from wot-news.ru
They do realize that the only thing that tank has going for it is manuverability right
It really ruins your day to get hit by it. Most of the tanks it faces lose almost half of their health when they get hit by it, it's OP.
Seriously it wouldn't be a problem if half the community didn't buy one this last weekend.
Why is the T32 so awesome? An IS-8 and I held off a Ferdi, KT, Lowe, and IS-8 on the south hill in that snowy Finnish map. Killed the KT and Lowe, he got the Ferdi and died by artillery. I died from a GWPanther in TD mode coming to rescue the IS-8 while I was giving his cupola the dick from behind a dead KV-4.
A KV-3 just bounced a D-25T shell off the side of my Wolverine's turret. He was a shocked as I was.
I bounced a JT ap shell of the side armor on a AMX F3AM. I hit it from a 90¤ angle.. How is it even possible to bounce that kinda shot?
That thing has a black hole on the side, honestly. The other month I hit one in the side twice with the american 120, and it bounced both
Indeed it must. A little later i bounced another at his gun, but i was firing while going in reverse it hit in a bad angle. Only good thing was that i out maneuvred him and put another shell in him while backing into another french spg that came from behind so I got a nice doubletap out of it without taking any damage from them. :)
I'm trying to actually enjoy playing WoT with the half off SU-85B and whatnot, but here's every round I've played today: 1. Get to a nice piece of cover 2. Realize it's a tier 6 game 3.A Teammates roll through enemy, forcing me to relocate up ahead after getting all of a couple shots off 3.B Teammates get rolled by enemy, forcing me to relocate to somewhere worse 4.A Artillery kills me 4.B I die to a flanker because our teams' other flank sucked 4.C I get a few shots in on the enemy before getting overrun. 4.D I die because the only tanks surrounding me are KV-1Ss, SU-85s, KVs, and the occasional T-50, and thus the juicy looking 4.0 aimtime SU-85B is the only "viable" target for anything I'm fighting.
Constant relocation is what the 85B excels at. If you're not shooting at something you should be moving to somewhere you can. And yeah, teammates suck, but with the top gun (LB-2S) you'll be an absolute predator. If I can recommend you equipment, you want the GLD + camo + binocs, not the rammer.

Holy, T-34 with 88 mounted on top.
At last wargaming answers the most gripping question on everyone's mind. elvidyo How DO you drive a Super Pershing?
Wargaming is actually telling people that shooting shit that SHOULDN'T EVEN DAMAGE THE TANKS HEALTH is a viable tactic. Ergo, Wargaming will never make cupola shots do no damage. Fucking Wargayming.

The attacking tank's second HESH round hit the open commander's hatch lid of the QRL tank sending hot fragments into the turret that caused an explosion of the stowed ammunition, destroying the tank and killing two crew members. It remains the only Challenger 2 to be completely destroyed on operations.

And at the very least it should just damage the commander, not the tank.

That's how the game is being balanced.

[editline]28th August 2012[/editline] Yes I know what HESH is please don't write me a novel about it.
What the hell are you doing cupolas were accepted as legit weak spot since beta. That's how the game is being balanced.
I know bro, it's still a completely shitty way to "balance" the game.
I know bro, it's still a completely shitty way to "balance" the game.
What else do you imply? Health sponging? Or making everything with solid armor so immobile that it can be flanked? Or do you really enjoy the "can't deal damage no matter what" situations that much?
Or do you really enjoy the "can't deal damage no matter what" situations that much?
I'm sorry if that's how tanks are supposed to be.
I'm sorry if that's how tanks are supposed to be.

We continued on and I was firing the 75mm gun at a German tank next to a barn. I had fired one armor-piercing round when all of a sudden we received a direct hit to the turret. The shell hit the cupola ring and a flash of fire hit my periscope. The shell blew the tank commander's hatch open, took part of his head off, and then proceeded to blow off the anti-aircraft gun and mount. Bill Hey was killed instantly and he fell down on my back, covering me with blood. By the time I could get Bill off of my back, the assistant driver had bailed out and the loader had crawled through the turret and out the assistant driver's hatch. Instead of checking to see where the gun tube was located, all I could think about was getting out of the tank, since when they hit you once they generally keep hitting you until the tank catches fire. When I finally got Bill off of my back and crawled out of the turret, I rolled over the duffel bag rack expecting to land on the back of the tank, but instead ended up falling all the way to the ground. Fortunately, the deep snow cushioned my fall. I had mistakenly left the gun slightly to the left over the driver's hatch. When I hit the ground I crawled to the back of the tank since we were receiving machinegun fire. When I reached the back, the driver started backing the tank since he could not get his hatch open because of the gun tube. I had left the controls in power traverse and, as the tank backed up, the gun traversed to the left and he was able to open the hatch and get out. We made our way to a small creek bed and headed back to the town of Sart. Everyone thought I had been hit since I was covered with my tank commander's blood. The next day the Graves Registration people removed Bill Hey's body and we took the tank back to Battalion Maintenance for repairs. We then had to remove the good shells and clean the inside of the turret. Bill's brains were in my seat and blood covered everything, including the radio. It was a very gruesome job. I never talked about the experience for years after the war. At the conclusion of the Battle of the Bulge, I transferred to another tank with a new crew. I was to have another bad experience near Blatzheim, Germany.
how is the T-62a compared to the other tier x mediums?

You're only reinforcing my point. It didn't do anything but tear the cupola off and kill the commander. The rest of the tank was still functioning, they don't say otherwise.
You're only reinforcing my point. It didn't do anything but tear the cupola off and kill the commander. The rest of the tank was still functioning, they don't say otherwise.
And the crew bailed.
And the crew bailed.
Does the crew bail in WoT? Didn't think so, I'm not sure why you're trying to use that excuse
And the crew bailed.
The tanks in wot don't actually have crew, if the game was implying people it would be rated M.
