It's free pen as opposed to losing DPM for it. Additionally, 203 is adequate, 212 is good. 232 is unnecessary. Are you even listening?

So you're saying an extra 20 pen, boosting it's overall up to 232, on a tank that gets into tier 9 games, is in fact, unnecessary? Do you think about what you say before you say it? Sure you lose DPM, but you lose DPM anyway if you don't pen.
The difference between 210 and 232 pen is the difference between being able to pen an e-75 frontally or not so I'd personally see use in it

Yeah because tier 9 matches and in fact fighting tier 9 tanks is so damn rare in this tank that it's better t o kick ass all the time and have to flank in tier 9 matches than do worse in every match as a crutch for the occasional tier 9

Not to mention the fact that you aren't taking into account the extra alpha the 100 gets over the 90, which you can't tell me isn't fucking needed. If you really think that way, then getting the Panther into T9 matches with the l/100 must be your favorite thing ever.

Also DPM means shit, Alpha is more important on AP guns.
also, guys, if you ever need any spare monies in wot, go into your depot, click "incompatible with my tanks" in either modules or ammo, and sell everything. I am not a very accomplished player (around 2k battles I think) and I still made over a half million.

It has the speed to flank. Shooting in the rear and side is always better. Ammo. Engine. Guaranteed pen. Flat slopes.

I can't seem to figure out how to play the M18. Sitting in bushes doesn't work because the second I fire, everyone sees me even though I have the camo net. The fact that I still have just the m1a2 gun doesn't help because it's pretty damn shit.
Sniping with it is kinda useless when my gun is a machine gun with small dmg and average pen.
Just what am I supposed to do with this?
Just a word about DPM - remember it's not as simple as comparing two numbers because they would both fire the first shot at the same time. So after 1s, the higher alpha gun has the higher "damage so far". After 10s, the 100mm has fired twice but the 90mm has [I]also only fired twice[/I].
Flanking isn't as much of a necessity if you have more pen. You don't [i]have[/i] to worry about if you can pen a tank or not, so you don't [i]have[/i] to flank. A higher pen gun is more versatile in all situations, I don't see why you wouldn't want more pen here. You're gonna use the gun on the next fuckin tank anyway so why not just get it?
