World of Tanks - SIEMA PL? - Games

Has anyone had those tense moments of hiding behind a rock or a building waiting for a target to pop its head out so you could get a shot in? Even if it meant defeat in the long run because they're two tiers higher than you and could rip your turret off with the force of a round hitting it? Or maneuvering around another tank hoping to get a shot on its rear or at least beat it in a fair 1 on 1? It seems like every time one of these tense moments between two players happens its completely wrecked by artillery, I don't know how many situations I've been in where I've been bombarded with artillery when I'm ready to face death to a worthy adversary, instead I'm hit by a Grille across the map who I'll never see. Or even worse is when the tank you're about to destroy gets blown up from friendly artillery just looking for easy points. I don't see the appeal in artillery no matter what you play besides light tanks. For a Heavy tank they rain death on you as you crawl along the battle field, a lot of artillery seems to be capable of taking out mediums in the same way, TDs its no fun because most of them are designed to be stationary in a bush gunning anything that gets close, but as soon as a tank gets close enough to spot you, if you don't get your ass out of there, artillery will completely wreck you. And playing as a SPG is just insanely boring. I want to like this game, I really do. And I do enjoy it most of the time, although the matchmaking is a bit broken that can be ignored, the history is cool, I love tanks, the game seems nicely polished since i last played a year ago but the damn artillery always seems to try to drive me away. So a friendly batchat went rogue and tried to kill me after he killed another friendly Tiger. Saw him coming up to my rear, he was blue, so I took a shot and took 1/3rd his health. He keeps coming at me, bounces a shot off my skirts twice, and I take another 1/3rd of his health. He gets off 2 more shots before a friendly E50 ran down a hill and rammed him to death. Pretty pathetic.

They're both equally terrible in my opinion.
