Guys, what's the effective armor on the front of the e-75, both lower and upper glacis.
I don't like how a t34 penetrated the upper part, want to know if it happens always or it was some bad angling bullshit.
I like the AMX M4 a lot.
It's a more agile Tiger with a badass gun.

I remember that happening a lot too.
Oddly enough I don't remember having too many fires (destroyed engines for sure but rarely any fires). I don't remember what skills I had at the time so that may have something to do with it. I have had the same crew from PzIV (before they added that second line) to Tiger II.

If I play it like my T-50 series, that's suicide. If I scout with my 56kph speed, that's suicide. If I try to run around people in circles, break through armored lines or wiggle-scout; that's all suicide in it.
You can 'scout' in this, but I never play it 'as a scout.' Or at least my definition of a scout. I mean, there's bush-scouting; but that's something I never do. (I acknowledge it exists, just not my style at all.)
All this said, I usually get a few kills around with it and do a great job scouting - without actually playing it as I do other scouts. My usual process is to light, pull out, engage unaware/busy targets - rinse and repeat. Whereas in my T-50 series; I never stop moving and I'm perfectly comfortable rushing large groups due to speed and wiggle-ability.
Okay gentlemen idea time
Now that you can train crew skills for their alternative role (i.e. commander gets radio operator skills), I have a plan
Take a higher tier, 100% crew, plop them into a lower tier vehicle with less crew (and dual roles)
cross-train skills, put them back into your preferred line
The problem is that I don't know what tanks have less crew than the 5/6 optimal, and no idea what positions they would occupy, so ideas?
I was thinking it might be cool if we could put gunner skills (deadeye etc) onto a loader (comparatively useless).

The problem is that there are very few skills that stack or are unused in the tanks you could put it in. Trust me, I thought about this at one time - but the more I mucked about with it, the less I saw for potential. :v:
I do wonder what happens when you stack skills that were never designed to be stacked, however, such as the commander view-range buffs. Driver and commander are the only two crew that there are never more than one of, though, and I think those titles always take priority over other ones.
I hate to say it, but I think the system is pretty unexploitable right now. Less I totally missed something.

Stay back, let the team do everything while you support/snipe. Unless you're top tank, you don't want to be the frontline stock. Tough it out, get your doubles, try to avoid damage. Trust me, E-75 becomes amazing with the 128mm or engine. :v:

Each scout plays uniquely, and trying to play one like another just doesn't work. The chaffee, instead of trying to get up in people's faces, can make use of its ridiculous view range, and the game mechanics to do so. Unlike the other scouts which will be spotted before they spot something, the chaffee can see them roughly before, or at the same time (with the setup I run, well before), giving you more chance to plan and interpret your path and the flow of the battle.
Other scouts are forced to play reactive, but the chaffee can play more proactive.

Anyways this tank is just amazing, just play it as a sniper in the back and use the awesome mobility it has and rape shit. The turret pens basically everything I run into.
I got almost 40 battles with it and 72% win percent, lets see when it falls into my usual 60%.

mine's at a miserable 43% w/r after about 50 matches because of the retards in x5
But 5x is a glorious time of retards everywhere where you can dominate entire enemy teams because of their incompetence

I've kicked ass and my team still loses (see: boelter's in the T59 ending in defeat, countless top guns on defeat, multiple games this weekend where I get a fuckload of damage and or cap and we still lose etc)

Like I said though - I don't have the DCA 45 yet because this last 4k is never going to happen because all I get is teams that lose lose lose.
