I'm 90% sure alternate role skills become inactive when the crew no longer performs that role. So it wouldn't work.
I used to have a ton of fun playing on my own, that completely wore off, and found by playing in a Platoon. Now. I get absolutely no fun from this AT ALL in any tank or map.
So im on steppes with my t28p, going out to protect the flank, 3 minutes later and im still the only one who went that way. Luckily some of the guys on the team started to get their brain working again and came over to help me out.
Unfortunately the rest of the team that went one way all died to a couple of tanks and hardly killed any of the enemy.
Somehow we won though.

Fuck the Churchill is starting to get on my fucking nerves. The fact that it only gets tier 5 matches makes it that much more frustrating to fight, because you see them guaranteed in every goddamn match. I can never tell which way their front is pointed or which way their box turret w/ babypenis sized gun sticking out the end is facing from afar either. And once they start firing you're pretty much dead, since there's not much the 57mm can't penetrate in a tier 5 game (I own the Ram-II thank you).

I agree, the Churchilll is a bit overpowered with it's machine gun-like cannon and god-like armor that almost nothing it faces can penetrate it. They should increased reload time or decreased the accuracy.
In fact at this moment, it seems that most of the Tier 5 Premiums currently in game are superior to everything at their tier, even when fully upgraded.

I find them super easy to kill. I also own a Churchill. If that's anything to add.

OH BOY, JUST HAD AN ADVENTURE WITH OUR FRIENDLY POLISH BROTHERS
There was 3 polish people in a platoon on my team, a b.chat 155, m40/43, and a batchat. all from some polish clan or some shit, and they started talking in Polish. I politely told them to go play on the EU server, it's there for a reason. Then one of them said this:

And then the batchat155 shot at me, so I lugged my way back to our cap to take him out. Then the m40 joins in, and the (real) batchat comes back and unloads into my ass. Our 704 from THIRD backed me up though, killed the 2 arties, and nearly got the batchat. Sad thing is none of the Poles turned blue, but the 704 did.

No, not really. Sure, there are tanks that can cut it apart, but there's even more that don't stand a chance. Also, if the gun dings a lot for you, you're doing it wrong; hint, target weak points. Besides, anything without armor is completely fucked because of how fast the gun fires.
