Is it me, or do they put you on worse teams if you do bad? Far from me to complain about a bad team, but this is just ridiculous. I got off to an awful start on stock VK3601H and now that I can do some damage with the upgraded gun and turret, I can't seem to get onto a decent team. Even my wins have been by a narrow margin. I had a 51% win ration, and I dropped down to 47%, I never encountered teams worth seriously complaining about in my PzIV. Given time I could dip below 45%, the only reason it isn't there now is because I've been grinding other tanks alongside the VK3601H.

Because the real one has actually a lower height and has angled sides. The one that is in WoT is a prototype model.

Remember the axiom that all teams are bad. For what it's worth, in the last few months tier 6 games have gotten really bad - I can barely make an impact in the E2 Jumbo these days, either.

I'm 95% sure I just made someone ragequit from the game just a few minutes ago. There was a T25/2 plinking off me a few times, and when he was finally spotted, I oneshotted him. The only thing worse than that tank is getting oneshot in it after doing no damage. I feel sorry for the guy.

But seriously you're going to have to get through both if you want the popular KV and Sherman tanks, so you might as well play them :) And if you only have 3 tanks, why not start a brand new line for a change of pace? I have 18 slots, and might have to buy 3 more when British come.

I'm not really interested in making arty or TD my primary.

I try to play the way people here think it should be played; aim for high-tier, high-health targets instead of one-shotting low tier tanks for easy kills, because I don't like the way the majority of arty players play either. I'm not trying to say arty should be kept in, I'd be ok if it got removed, I acknowledge it takes no skill and is stupidly overpowered and promotes camping, but I'm not as bad as the people you see in the WoT forums claiming it takes skill.

I don't think the Hummel is low tier, really. You're right, now that I think about it. Arty like the GW Tiger and GWE are pretty bullshit on their own, even before a 12 year old gets his hands on it. I'm not so desperate to get there that I'm willing to suffer the ridiculous grind time.
