I always thought using a heavy tank for AA roles was kinda impractical. Does anyone have a rough idea of how these people are making these models? The whole reason of having a tank with AA capability, is mobility. It would be faster to tow 4 88mm guns than to put two on an E-100 chassis. The fuck-up cability of an E-100 with twin 88mm L/71s is horrific though. Not a single WWII Tank, sans the one rumored IS-3, could stand up to it frontally if it was using AP and APCR rounds. :v:

So I'm trying to do the impossible and have a good game for my x3 exp in my piece of shit t57. For about a minute I just sit in spawn and dread the upcoming minutes. Then I see two tanks, some light tank and a m2 medium coming up an open area in the trainyard so I decide to play the t57 as a td and kill both of them. I see the rest of the team and the back of this alley so I'm like fuck it and rush down the alley and get another kill and then I'm killed. That was pretty good for that piece of shit and I should get a good payout with the x3. Now all that has to happen is my team has to win. We're beating them 10>7 so I'm pretty sure we've got it in the bag. Soon it's 13>12. Some fucking moron is sitting in our spawn hiding behind a wall for no goddamn reason. the non-idiots manage to get 1 more kill but a higher teir kills them both so now it's just this idiot vs the guy that's killed 8 people on our team. He's now going for our spawn and the douchebag loser is still hiding behind a wall. Now he decides to move. He passes right by the enemy without doing anything. The enemy starts shooting him in the ass and he's still just moving forward like nothings happening. What the fuck is your problem man? are you retarded? For the first 20 shots they do no damage. I'm like, ok this guy must be able to kill him, his tank can't be damaged. But then the enemy gets a shot on him that does 16% damage and he still doesn't know what's going on and goes full on towards the enemy base. The enemy is like fuck it lol and starts to cap our base. Now the fucker figures out that maybe he has to do something not stupid to win the game. He slowly approaches our flag with it ticking up 50% and enters the cap zone. I was thinking that since he was in the cap zone he would stop the capping. He slowly approaches the rock that the enemy is hiding behind. Now he's got a shot on the enemy. The enemy fires and it does no damage. All of the sudden the end screen pops up and says defeat. I blow my fucking brains out.

It really means we have to rethink our urban tactics too. They'll involve a lot more rushing around corners and overwhelming tanks than shitty corner sniping.
