Just looking up somethings about the British tier 1, the medium mark 1.
It has a HE thrower. A 15 pounder to be precise, firing a 6.35kg shell.
Apparently according to [url="http://bronetehnika.narod.ru/is2/is2_9.html"]this[/url] 122mm rounds weren't steelcore AP but APHE (they had a small detonator inside). I want more damage but less pen, it was something like 150mm RHA @ 500m for BR-471 and 157mm RHA @ 500m for BR-471B.
I like how that video openly states that the SU-18 and the Renault SPG are complete shit
The SU-18 was the main reason I never played artillery :(

Why bother making a dedicated AP shell when your howitzer already has an APHE shell that can penetrate almost everything it'll ever face.
I don't think the 122's damage should be boosted though, and the penetration is already low enough.
I wonder if the soviets ever made a HEAT shell for the A-19/D-25T, after the war they were drowning in these things.

There was BK-6M HEAT but it was for D-30 I think it still would be compatible with D-25.

Pretty much the same thing as Superpershing.
Although it would be silly because you can't really punch a hole through such slab using a shell. The slabs would have to explode after getting hit by sufficiently strong AP round.
