I'm sorry, but you're not using it correctly then. Sure, the lower hull is a massive weak spot, the gun is inaccurate and doesn't have a lot of pen, and it's not the fastest tank; but, every tank has their good points and bad points, the E-100 is no different, that certainly doesn't make it a bad tank.
While it's not very accurate at range, it's armor is quite effective at rangle, especially with angling, which allows you to pick on the smaller tanks (which you can pen). Once you get into close quarters, try to keep something between your lower hull and the enemy; remember, your side skirts with a good angle are all but impenetrable, and while the front of the turret is rather weak to tier 9+ tanks, once again add an angle and not much is going to get through (short of HE).
As to the gun, while it has sub par pen for a tier 10, it can easily punch through the lower hulls of basically all of the tier 10s (without gold) and deliver massive amounts of damage to boot. The problem is more of hitting the lower hull (and other weak spots), but it really isn't that big of an issue I find (besides, you can afford to miss a few generally as, with proper angling, nothing is going to penetrate you anyway).
The E-100 is a hard tank to use correctly because it has a different play style from basically all of the other tanks in the game, but used correctly is an great tank.

still a higher DPM though iirc. rate of fire isn't really that bad until you hit the 150 on the t8 american TDs, and even then it's still great for a Tier X TD gun.

The 3001H is amazing compared to the 3001P.
At least it's not bigger than a Tiger P while having the same acceleration as a Maus.
The 3001P would be bearable if it wasn't for the horrendously high ground resistance and the fact you need to get the suspension before mounting the damn turret.
Maybe the 88 L56 just has it in for me, then.
Seriously, I let it fully aim, and 3 shots in 5 still end up trying to dig their way to China.

As someone who ground it a month or so ago, let me elaborate. First, it's not "[B]terrible kill me please, I'd rather eat baby fetuses than grind this[/B]."
It just, quite literally, has nothing going for it. Except a sorta-fast top speed that it can never reach ever.
It has the most shitty health of the 3001/3601s.
It has shit acceleration.
It's top gun is still the shit 88 L/56
It's armor is quite literally paper and the only redemption is the mantlet (barely.)
It's fucking gigantic.
The only reason you want a 3001P is to suffer through to the Tiger Penis. Then it becomes a case of "Let's fix all the shit wrong with the 3001P, by fixing all the fucking problems and making the hull armor a god damn 200mm thick slab."

It's fine to call it whatever you want between friends, but don't get in a tizzy on a public forum where some poor smuck walks in and gets hounded at for calling a gun by it's communally known name. It'd be much better to just say "We call it a trollgun here." or "It's called a trollgun on Facepunch; we don't like using the phrase derp gun."
For point of reference, my friends and I have a lot of made up terms for World of Tanks guns, too. Not like I get upset when one of them doesn't use any of these:
[B]Stubby[/B]: Any short 105mm with the usual HE-only 400dmg rounds. Occasionally we use them for Lorraines or Batshits with the short 90mm.
[B]Rape Cannon[/B]: 155mm (T95, T30)
[B]152[/B] or [B][I]Derp[/I][/B]: 152mm (KV-2, (I)SU-152)
[B]Finger of God Gun[/B]: BL-10 152mm
[B]Bap-Bap[/B] or [B]Machine Gun[/B]: Any stupid-rapid 57mm. (T-50(-2), Churchill, T-34)
For most other guns, we just use (gun length, if multiple selections: short/long) (gun caliber)
As in, that King Tiger has the short one-oh-five. That Lorraine has the long ninety.
We also never call BatChat's by their proper name. It's either BatShit or (more formal) GuanoMobile. All artillery usually because "artyfag" or "OP piece of shit" if they have a 203mm and up.

German tier 6 tanks are all around kinda rough. VK3601H somehow manages to not be balls, but the rest of them... pretty bad. The VK 3001P takes this level of bad, goes all 2 girls 1 cup all over it, and then leaves you to clean up the mess.
I played Tiger before they buffed it. I played M3 Lee. I played the B1 and BDR (without the pwncannon). Somehow, the VK 3001P is worse than all of these. In fact, there is only one tank that is worse than it, and that is the Jagdpanzer IV (which isn't saying much). All around terrible tank.
Can you guys stow the "OMG IT'S A TROLLCANNON" shit? No one cares.
