Normalization changes.
Every single tank with angled armor got a fairly good buff in armor. Isn't the L/48's penetration something like 120 now? The L/70 used to be 130 so it's not that far.

Seriously though, the panzer 4 may have suffered a role change, but it isn't a crap tank. The only way it will be is if you insist in playing it like it used to be.

Which essentially is a PzIII/IV that trades maneuverability for greater DPM and better soft stats.
it's not that my pc is too slow, i run on four cores. A lot of newer GPUs can take on processor load as well. Most likely you all have single or dual cores who run the game well.
Am I just gonna have to re-download the game again because im stuck at the loading screen when entering a battle? Was I not just suppose to transfer things to the 8.0 file?

4 cores, 8 threads.
Going from a Q9400 to a 2500k was quite an improvement on my end, mainly because of the massive clock increase. Most of the upgrade was the GPU though.
With the Q9400 I did ~40-50 fps on medium with no AA while on the 2500k I did 60 fps on medium-high with some AA.
When I added the HD7950 I could run at 60+ fps at all times, even those areas on Ruinberg where it went down to 25.
Then again, this fucking game engine isn't quite on par with Cryengine 3 in both looks and optimization.
Do you really even notice the difference between 30fps and 60fps in the game so long as it isnt jumping between the two? Because both pretty much play the same to me (or at least I didn't notice any significant difference when i moved to a better computer)
So how is the Hetzer with the normalization buff? I'd imagine it would make it even better than what it already is.

Bien sûr I updated through the launcher, why the hell wouldn't I. The problem occurs when I go into battle I get brought to the loading screen showing the player list with a loading bar at the bottom and as soon as it says fully loaded it just stays there and my courser ends up disappearing.
(I just know I'm gonna get it from Apache if I don't quote this right)

Apparently you can now transfer crews from premium tanks to tanks of the same type without retraining or penalty.
My Churchill Crew now are masters of all Russian heavy tanks.
So I liked the t-54 before 8.0 but I managed to unlock the final gun (apparently they added a new gun too but I can live without it) right before the patch and I must say, with physics the tank is pretty fucking amazing.
I've managed to unlock the engine and the only thing left are the tracks. Can anybody tell me if it's worth the 23k to upgrade the tracks, or should I just go straight for the t-62a?

I did just get a game where a player said he would "worship me as a god" as I ran around Provoshovska killing shit in the T2 light though
Been quite inactive in the past weeks on the game...maybe now I shall have some fun again with the 0.8.
